Zach Haupt
Assistant T&F Coach - Davidson College
Zach Haupt is an experienced collegiate track and field coach with more than 20 years of
coaching and recruiting success across NCAA Division I and Division III programs. Currently
serving as Assistant Track and Field Coach at Davidson College, he coaches sprints, jumps, and
relays. Throughout his career, Haupt has developed numerous school record holders, conference
scorers, NCAA qualifiers, conference champions, and a national champion.
Prior to Davidson, Haupt held coaching positions at University of Delaware, University of
Lynchburg, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and University of Central Arkansas. As Head
Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Lynchburg, he led the program to indoor and outdoor
conference championships and earned Indoor and Outdoor ODAC Coach of the Year honors in
2014. Haupt is certified through both USATF and USTFCCCA and specializes in the
development of sprinters, jumpers, and multi-event athletes. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in
Speech Communication from McKendree College
