Raijad Lee

Raijad “Ray” Lee is the Co-Director and Lead Trainer of Complete Player Evolution (CPE), bringing over 10 years of experience as a player, coach, and trainer to the game of basketball.

Born in Newport News, Virginia, and raised in Richmond, he developed a passion for basketball at age five while watching NBA stars Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, and Carmelo Anthony, whose skill, competitiveness, and dedication inspired his love for the game. Growing up in Richmond, Virginia’s highly competitive basketball culture helped shape the work ethic and discipline that continues to define his approach today. As a junior, Lee moved to Iowa City, Iowa, he contributed to a State Championship team, gaining valuable experience within a winning culture built on accountability, teamwork, and excellence. He continued his playing career at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Minnesota as a point guard and his experience running a team and understanding the game from a floor general’s perspective continues to influence his coaching style today, particularly his emphasis on leadership, communication, and basketball IQ. Today, Lee coaches shoe-circuit AAU basketball with one of Minnesota’s premier programs while helping youth, collegiate, and professional athletes improve through game-based skill development and basketball IQ training. Passionate about developing both players and people, he uses basketball as a platform to cultivate leadership, confidence, and success on and off the court.
