Get ready to train, compete, and elevate your performance at the Nike Cross Country Camp at Biola University! Designed for boys and girls ages 11–17, this camp offers a high-energy, supportive environment where athletes of all ability levels can develop their skills and passion for cross country.
Led by Biola University's Director of Cross Country and Track & Field, Sean Henning, campers will receive expert instruction and work with experienced coaches who emphasize proper technique, aerobic endurance, and speed development. Through focused drills, small-group instruction, and fun competitive challenges, athletes will build confidence while learning what it takes to train like a champion.
Taking place at Biola University’s outstanding Al Barbour Field, the camp blends elite-level coaching with the excitement and inspiration of a college campus. Beyond physical training, campers will also learn about athletic mindset, goal-setting, and injury prevention, helping them grow as holistic runners.
This camp is open to any and all entrants and is only limited by age, gender and number.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, AND FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Campers should bring at least one pair of broken in running shoes. Event shoes/spikes are recommended but not required. Please be sure to properly mark your equipment, so that it can be easily identified.
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Running or athletic shoes
- Extra athletic clothing
- 1-2 pairs of broken in running shoes/spikes
- Non-running shoes
- Packed lunch/snacks
- Water bottle
- Sunblock
- Small gym bag/backpack
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
BEHAVIOR POLICIES
We may ask campers who require 1×1 supervision, disrupt the camp experience, or threaten the safety of themselves or others to leave camp. Behaviors meriting expulsion include, but are not limited to: a cause or threat of violence, putting themselves or others in danger, possession of a weapon, possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, drugs or illegal substance, robbery, damage to property, sexual misconduct or assault, harassment, hazing, racist remarks or acts, or intimidation. In those cases, we will contact a parent to pick up the child immediately. We do not issue refunds to campers who are asked to leave camp.

CANCELLATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event a camp day is cancelled or camp hours are adjusted due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to provide make-up time. If make-up time is not possible, no refund will be issued for the first cancelled day or any shortened hours. If additional full days are cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, a pro-rated camp credit voucher will be issued for each cancelled day beyond the first.

What does my child need to bring to camp?

My child is new to the sport, do you accept athletes who are beginners in the sport?
We bring the best out of campers of all skill levels. All we require is a positive attitude.
Does the Health & Release Form need to be signed by a doctor?
Our Health & Release Form does not require a doctor’s signature. This form is required to be filled out accurately, and completed online prior to camp arrival.
