SCHOLARSHIPS

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

  • Best sports camp

This is the best sports camp in general I have been to. I was hesitant about going at first because I didn't know anyone who was going and I wasn't from the area, but I turned out to make a lot of friends there, and the group they assign you into becomes really close even though you only meet for four days. My skills also improved so much! People have asked me on my school team how I am I so much better since last year and I honestly think it's from these four days!

July 4, 2019: Coach Moore and her staff have done it again! Another excellent field hockey camp experience for my daughter, who is already asking me to send her back next year! We travel from Suffolk County for her to attend this camp at Adelphi University and it is worth it! She told me that she definitely feels as though she has improved her skills in the short time she attended and had fun doing it! Brava to the entire staff and especially her camp counselor, Lauren! The ultimate highlight was on the last day, when my daughter received a new field hockey stick as an award! What a fantastic time for her and I couldn’t be happier.

June 29, 2018: My daughter loved everything about Nike Field Hockey camp! From her awesome counselor Kate, to the other girls she met, all while learning more about her favorite sport... she has an absolute blast every day. The weather was perfect everyday except the last one- so she was disappointed they didn’t do what was planned because everyone was inside but nevertheless she had a great time!

  • It is worth it!

  • Thank you!

July 4, 2019: The head camp coach, Mary Moore, was wonderful. Her and her staff ran the camp professionally, well knowledgeable in field hockey and it was a fun bonding time too for her and her field hockey friends. Olivia’s coach, Jackie, taught her great skills and I feel Olivia will carry those tips into her Varsity season in the fall.

  • very positive experience

August 3, 2018: My child loved the advisers and their positive attitudes, she also enjoyed the scrimmages they had after lunch. Overall she had a very positive experience. :) I think you are doing everything perfectly and you don't need to change a thing. The advisers and camp director were very encouraging and friendly. They had a strong knowledge of the sport and made sure everyone understood what was being taught. The hydrating reminders were also helpful! In conclusion , it was a great camp with lovely people and a good learning environment for growing players.

  • Great for beginners

July 8, 2016: This camp was very helpful I am a beginner and have never played in a game of field hockey before and this camp really helped me so when it's time for try outs at my school I will be more experienced. I played with people in my age group who were more advanced so they tried to help me improve and when I still struggled the couch would help me with techniques. This camp was very helpful.

  • Top Notch Camp!

“My daughter loved this camp it was very hands on and personal. I took my daughter to a much bigger division 1 camp and she like this camp so much more because at the Nike camp she met all the coaches and the coaches knew her name. She learned so much more at the Nike camp. My daughter and I would highly recommend this camp to any field hockey player.”

  • Professional

My daugher appreciated the professionalism and specific suggestions for how to improve her game. As her mom, I was very pleased how smoothly I was able to drop off her Epi-Pen for her peanut allergy. Also, it was fun for my daughter and her friends -- a great experience.

  • Very impressed

My daughter was very impressed with the coaching staff and how they took a personal interest in each player. They gave the kids plenty of breaks (it was hot) and were not too intense. My daughter came back to the camp a second time this year. She was very inspired by the coaches last year and participated in the futures program through the winter. We will definitely be back next year!

  • Great quality camp

My daughter attended the Nike Field Hockey Camp at Adelphi and absolutely loved it. She plays soccer and basketball and has attended other local camps but simply felt that this was the greatest. Couldn't wait to go back every day and is looking forward to next year's camp. She was a total beginner and spoke highly of the attention and instruction that the staff provided. Camper and Parents of Camper extremely happy about the quality of this camp

  • Great director

Gloria at Adelphi is the type of head-coach that motivates young women to push themselves in the best way. Her Nike field hockey camp has inspired my daughter, who has been attending for 2 years. Not only to stay focused in hockey, but to remember her academics in achieving her future sporting goals.
