Join our Massachusetts field hockey camp, open to athletes of all skill levels! Led by Nike Camp Director Meagan Hildebrand and her experienced coaching staff, this camp offers focused training to help boys and girls enhance their skills.

Through engaging drills and live gameplay, participants will refine techniques and build confidence on the field. Train alongside fellow athletes who share your passion for field hockey at our Georgetown camp and take your game to the next level. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow and excel!

    Meagan Hildebrand is the former varsity field hockey coach at Georgetown High School where she was named CAL Coach of the Year in 2020 and 2022.

    Meagan Hildebrand is the former varsity field hockey coach at Georgetown High School where she was named CAL Coach of the Year in 2020 and 2022. She served seven seasons there, bringing the team to the farthest point in the State Tournament that has been seen to date in program history.

    Previously, Hildebrand served as the Defense and Goalie Coach for Merrimack College Field Hockey. In her tenure there, the team boasted a 73-27 record, two NE-10 conference titles, and four NCAA appearances, her final season being the program's first trip to the NCAA Championship game in program history. Hildebrand coached 11 Merrimack players to NCAA All American status.

    Hildebrand was part of the Masconomet Regional High School field hockey team’s coaching staff from 2006-2010, serving as head coach for one season before making the move to the collegiate level.

    Hildebrand is the director for the Nike Field Hockey Camp at Georgetown HS, and has spent decades coaching at the Nike Blue Dog Camp at Endicott College. She has spent many years involved with coaching in both the Bay State game as well as the USA Field Hockey Futures program (Nexus).

    Hildebrand graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., in 2006 with a degree in Secondary Education and English. She also obtained her Master of Arts degree in English from Salem State University in 2015, and her CAGS in Leadership from the University of New England in 2018.

    As an undergraduate at Saint Michael’s, Hildebrand (then McCarthy) was a four-year member of the Purple Knights’ field hockey team while serving as a captain in her senior season. She earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior. Hildebrand was selected to the NCAA Division II All-American second team as a senior. In 2005, Hildebrand was selected to play on the United States College National Team, and she captained the team as it toured Italy to compete.

    Coach Laura Galopim has been coaching Varsity Field Hockey for the past 28 years. Galopim spent 17 years in Weston, 10 years in Lexington and returned to Weston in 2024. Her overall record at the varsity level is 381-128-54 with 13 league titles and five North Sectional Championships in 28 years. The Weston Wildcats won the Division 1 state championship in 2008 and were state finalists two other times. In the past 28 years, her teams have won 12 league titles, 5 North Sectional titles, and 3 State Final appearances.

Please note: Camp schedules and details may be subject to change. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

STICKS FOR STARTERS
  • Dates: July 20-23
  • Gender/Ages: Girls & Boys, Ages 6-10
  • Skill: Beginner
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm, each day
  • Check-in: 8:30am on day 1
  • Program: This Sticks for Starters program is designed for players who are just starting out or are new to the sport of field hockey. Campers can get a jump-start on their stick work, learn fundamental concepts, and build a solid foundation from highly skilled staff in a fun and encouraging environment.
ALL SKILLS CAMPS
  • Dates: July 20-23
  • Gender/Ages: Girls & Boys, Ages 10-18
  • Skill: All Skill levels
  • Daily Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm, each day
  • Check-in: 8:30am on day 1
  • Program: This All Skills program is geared towards players of all abilities. The camp program includes stick work instruction & skills, technical & tactical training, offensive & defensive skills, and positioning work. Goalie-specific training is available as well

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNTS

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less. Please fill out the Team Discount - Field Hockey form and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a lunch each day.
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Camp Gear: All campers receive a Nike Field Hockey Camps package (reversible jersey, ball, lanyard) and other fun prizes.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director’s discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Hockey stick, water bottle, mouth guard, shin guards, turf shoes (goalies must bring full goalie protective equipment)
  • Inclement Weather Plan: In the case of a cancelled day due to rain, Friday will be used as a make up day.
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Parents have the right to review camp procedures on background checks, health care, discipline policies, and grievance procedures upon request.

Georgetown High School is located in Northern Massachusetts. Campers from the surrounding area are encouraged to compete at our field hockey camp.
