Monday to Wednesday of this week is non-padded. Thursday and Friday are Padded. Sign up for one or both. This non-contact football skills development camp offers a fun and engaging environment where players will develop fundamental skills, practice offensive and defensive drills, and compete in competitions and gameplay to improve their football abilities. Campers receive T-Shirt, Nike Cinch Sack and more.

For rising 6-8th graders, regardless of age. Campers are required to bring their gear: helmet, pads, mouthpiece, girdle, knee pads, and football practice pants.

Nike Football Skills Camps
The St. Ignatius Football Staff is excited to offer a variety of Wildcat Football Camps this summer for athletes of various ages and skill levels. All camps are designed to accomplish our goal of providing the most comprehensive football experience available while having fun! Campers will receive professional instruction in football skills, fundamentals, and techniques in a manner which promotes long-term athlete development. Campers will compete against each other in controlled one-on-one and group environments allowing each athlete to demonstrate learned skills during individual and group sessions in simulated game-play experiences. All camps are held on the beautiful campus at SI on the J.B. Murphy Field. As has been our hallmark, we pledge that camper’s safety and welfare are our top priority. We look forward to providing a first-class camp experience and are excited to see you ballin’ in the sunset this summer!

Head Varsity Football Coach Lenny Vandermade
St. Ignatius College Preparatory is excited to introduce Mr. Lenny Vandermade as the new Head Varsity Football Coach. His playing career and coaching experience includes USC, SDSU, and NFL teams such as the Steelers, Ravens, and Broncos! Coach Lenny believes in three things: Faith, Family, and Football.
Camp Details
Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, offensive and defensive skills, team play, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

Week 5: July 14-18, 2025 - Football Padded Camp: Rising 6th - 8th Grades
- Week 2: June 26-27, 2025
- Camp Type: Half-Day Camp
- Schedule: Half Day 1:00pm-4:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.

CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. Please note that US Sports Camps does NOT provide equipment and is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
Small gym bag/backpack
Athletic clothing: t-shirt, shorts
Warm-up jacket
Cleats (NO metal-tip cleats) & sneakers
Sunscreen
Water bottle
Packed lunch and snacks
Padded Camp Additions: Campers required to bring their own gear: helmet, pads, mouthpiece, girdle, knee pads, football practice pants. Jerseys are included in the registration fee and will be supplied at camp.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
