    “TJ” Trevor Graham Jr., former NFL football player and Head Football Coach at St. David's School. TJ Graham is a former NFL wide receiver turned elite performance coach who specializes in speed training and biomechanics. He spent 8 years playing professional football, including stops with the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Philadelphia Eagles after a standout collegiate career at NC State.

    Since retiring, TJ has become a sought-after speed coach for athletes in many sports - not just football. Combining an analytical approach leveraging sports technology with technical expertise developed over 12 years as an elite receiver, he creates tailored programs focusing on efficient movement patterns and maximizing explosiveness.

    Certified in areas ranging from CPR/First Aid to nutrition and personal training, TJ excels at optimizing biomechanics to boost speed, quickness, stamina, and explosiveness. His coaching pedigree and ability to relate to athletes as a former player himself delivers transformative gains - whether an aspiring youth honing fundamentals or an accomplished pro seeking an extra competitive edge.

    Jaylen Coleman brings a unique blend of high-level playing experience and cutting-edge sports science expertise to the Nike Football Camp. A former Duke University football player, Jaylen competed for five seasons while earning a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Management.

    His background in biomechanics and injury mechanics allows him to merge scientific principles with real-world athletic performance.

    Currently serving as a Sports Scientist and Data Analyst at the Duke Sports Science Institute, Jaylen specializes in data-driven athlete assessment, performance monitoring, and injury risk analysis. He leverages advanced sports technology—including force plate asymmetries, Perch Fit lifting data, and AI-driven training recommendations—to optimize movement efficiency and enhance explosive performance.

    With a passion for helping athletes reach their peak potential, Jaylen focuses on refining technique, improving movement patterns, and maximizing durability. His experience as both a player and a researcher allows him to connect with athletes on a deeper level, providing them with the tools to excel on the field while minimizing injury risks. Whether working with youth athletes developing fundamentals or elite players fine-tuning their mechanics, Jaylen’s expertise ensures a holistic approach to speed, strength, and overall performance.

    “EJ” Edward Hicks Jr leads strength and conditioning as well as skill development with Duke Sport Science Institute. EJ earned a degree in kinesiology and sport science after 4 years at the university of North Carolina Central and also played football for the Eagles. EJ was part of the 2022 HBCU national championship team , and was a stand out player for the NCCU eagles, earning him the opportunity to pursue his professional career with opportunities from the Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans.

    After his football career, EJ began helping professionals and young athletes with developing and polishing their skills to become better athletes on the field. He focuses on speed and strength training as well as skill position work. Through detailed programs, EJ focuses on power and explosive movements that are needed in today’s games to be a high level athlete with success on the field. EJ also focused on off-field success as well, building a great relationship and experience with students of the game.

    EJ is certified in CPR and first aid, as well as personal training. With years of playing experience, EJ excels at wide receiver fundamentals and effective movement at the position. His coaching helps athletes become better at efficiency and fundamentals to help them polish their abilities to the best they possibly can with an edge over other competitors on the field.

    Coach Larry Elder brings elite-level experience and production to the Nike Football Camp as a Defensive Training Specialist. A standout defensive back at Valdosta State, Elder helped lead the Blazers to the NCAA Division II Championship game while posting one of the most dominant seasons in school history.

    The Richmond, Virginia native finished his senior season with a team-high 107 total tackles, including 11 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles (ranking 4th nationally), and 3.5 sacks, along with an interception and a fumble recovery.

    His leadership and game-changing play earned him national recognition, including being named a finalist for the prestigious Cliff Harris Award, which honors the top defensive player across all Division II, III, and NAIA programs.

    Now coaching the next generation, Coach Elder brings championship-level insight, technical detail, and relentless energy to every session. Whether you’re refining technique or learning to dominate on defense, you’ll benefit from his proven experience and passion for the game.

Camp Details

Instruction will develop fundamentals and advanced skills, focusing on footwork, specific positions, team play, and game situations.

CAMP INFORMATION

  • Age Group: 8-13
  • Camp Type: Day Camp
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a healthy snack/lunch to camp each day.

Check-In Location: Under the covered entrance of the Duke Sports Science Auditorium. Signage and staff will be present starting at 8:45 AM.

Pickup Time: Official pickup begins at 4:00 PM, with final dismissal wrapping up by 4:30 PM.

CAMP FOCUS AREAS DURING THE WEEK:

1. On-Field Training:

• Skill development by position:

• Quarterbacks (QBs): Throwing mechanics, decision-making, and leadership.

• Wide Receivers (WRs): Route running, catching techniques, and release drills.

• Running Backs (RBs): Ball security, cuts, and acceleration.

• Defensive Backs (DBs): Coverage drills, footwork, and reaction time.

2. Educational Sessions:

• Football IQ: Understanding schemes, play-calling, and situational awareness.

• Nutrition & Hydration: Best practices for fueling performance.

• Injury Prevention: Proper warm-up, cooldown, and recovery methods.

• Mental Resilience: Leadership, overcoming adversity, and handling pressure.

Camp Gear & Materials

• Includes educational content, drills, and space for athlete notes.

• Performance Reports:

• Each camper will receive a personalized performance report at the end of the camp, tracking progress and areas for improvement.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 coach-to-athlete ratio to ensure personalized attention and athlete safety.

  • Groupings: Athletes will be divided by age and skill level into groups for the week, with a structured schedule to maximize both on-field and classroom sessions.

  • Facility: Duke Sports Science Campus (auditorium, weight room/training room, outdoor track and field)

Parking: Free parking is available in the Duke Sports Science Institute lot. Overflow parking can be found at Track and field Park (approx. 10-minute walk).

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

9:00-10:00 a.m. Drop-Off & Warm-Up - Supervised drop-off and dynamic warm-up session.

10:00-11:30 a.m. Skill-Based Rotations

11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Snack & Hydration Break - Athletes regroup and refuel for the next session.

12:00-1:00 p.m. Speed & Agility Training - Focused athletic development drills: sprinting, agility, change-of-direction work

1:00-2:00 p.m. Lunch Break - Lunch provided - Supervised relaxation and social time.

2:00-3:00 p.m. Classroom Session: Education Block- Rotating topics: Football IQ, Nutrition, Leadership, Injury Prevention, and Mental Resilience.

3:00-4:00 p.m. Competitive Drills & Games - Fun, competitive sessions, including 1v1s, small-sided games, and team challenges

4:00-4:30 p.m. Cool Down & Pickup - Stretching, feedback, and supervised pickup.
