Director Trevor Graham Jr.
“TJ” Trevor Graham Jr., former NFL football player and Director of Analytics and Sport Performance at Duke Sports Sciences Institute. TJ Graham is a former NFL wide receiver turned elite performance coach who specializes in speed training and biomechanics. He spent 8 years playing professional football, including stops with the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, and Philadelphia Eagles after a standout collegiate career at NC State.

Camp Coach Jaylen Coleman
Jaylen Coleman brings a unique blend of high-level playing experience and cutting-edge sports science expertise to the Nike Football Camp. A former Duke University football player, Jaylen competed for five seasons while earning a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Management.

Camp Coach “EJ” Edward Hicks Jr
“EJ” Edward Hicks Jr leads strength and conditioning as well as skill development with Duke Sport Science Institute. EJ earned a degree in kinesiology and sport science after 4 years at the university of North Carolina Central and also played football for the Eagles. EJ was part of the 2022 HBCU national championship team , and was a stand out player for the NCCU eagles, earning him the opportunity to pursue his professional career with opportunities from the Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans.

CAMP INFORMATION

- Age Group: 8-13
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a healthy snack/lunch to camp each day.
Check-In Location: Under the covered entrance of the Duke Sports Science Auditorium. Signage and staff will be present starting at 8:45 AM.
Pickup Time: Official pickup begins at 4:00 PM, with final dismissal wrapping up by 4:30 PM.
CAMP FOCUS AREAS DURING THE WEEK:
1. On-Field Training:
• Skill development by position:
• Quarterbacks (QBs): Throwing mechanics, decision-making, and leadership.
• Wide Receivers (WRs): Route running, catching techniques, and release drills.
• Running Backs (RBs): Ball security, cuts, and acceleration.
• Defensive Backs (DBs): Coverage drills, footwork, and reaction time.
2. Educational Sessions:
• Football IQ: Understanding schemes, play-calling, and situational awareness.
• Nutrition & Hydration: Best practices for fueling performance.
• Injury Prevention: Proper warm-up, cooldown, and recovery methods.
• Mental Resilience: Leadership, overcoming adversity, and handling pressure.
Camp Gear & Materials
• Includes educational content, drills, and space for athlete notes.
• Performance Reports:
• Each camper will receive a personalized performance report at the end of the camp, tracking progress and areas for improvement.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 coach-to-athlete ratio to ensure personalized attention and athlete safety.
Groupings: Athletes will be divided by age and skill level into groups for the week, with a structured schedule to maximize both on-field and classroom sessions.
Facility: Duke Sports Science Campus (auditorium, weight room/training room, outdoor track and field)
Parking: Free parking is available in the Duke Sports Science Institute lot. Overflow parking can be found at Track and field Park (approx. 10-minute walk).

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

- 9:00-10:00 a.m. Drop-Off & Warm-Up - Supervised drop-off and dynamic warm-up session.
- 10:00-11:30 a.m. Skill-Based Rotations
- 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Snack & Hydration Break - Athletes regroup and refuel for the next session.
- 12:00-1:00 p.m. Speed & Agility Training - Focused athletic development drills: sprinting, agility, change-of-direction work
- 1:00-2:00 p.m. Lunch Break - Lunch provided - Supervised relaxation and social time.
- 2:00-3:00 p.m. Classroom Session: Education Block- Rotating topics: Football IQ, Nutrition, Leadership, Injury Prevention, and Mental Resilience.
- 3:00-4:00 p.m. Competitive Drills & Games - Fun, competitive sessions, including 1v1s, small-sided games, and team challenges
- 4:00-4:30 p.m. Cool Down & Pickup - Stretching, feedback, and supervised pickup.
