Get ready for the Nike Contact Football Camp in Dallas, TX. This camp is designed for football players looking to improve their game this summer. Campers will have the opportunity to learn from professional instructors. Director Derrick Dotson has a passion for developing young athletes and is ready to help all campers improve their skills for the upcoming football season!
Instruction will include offensive and defensive position drills, athletic development, and there will be fun football gameplay and competitions throughout camp. Join us this summer to learn, have fun, make new friends, and become a better player.
Note: There is no rental equipment available. Each camper will need to bring their own equipment.

Camp Director Sir Derrick Dotson
SirDerrick “Coach Dot” Dotson is a native of Shreveport, LA and a 2012 graduate of Arkansas Baptist College. Dot received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. His passion for sports developed at a young age; however, his work ethic and dedication created an opportunity for him to play collegiate football. While completing his Bachelor's degree he gained experience working as an Athletic Student Assistant Advisor for Arkansas Baptist and in 2009 Arkansas Baptist hired him as the official Quarterback coach.

Camp Details
Nike Contact Football Camps feature skill development both offensively and defensively. At camp, "contact" is introduced in a slow, gradual progression before any actual "contact" is initiated. Campers are divided according to age, weight, and ability.

2025 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: July 15-18, 2025
- Age Group: 8-18
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day or bring money for food on-site.

Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
