Improve your game and have serious fun at
Nike Golf Camps

The newly renovated Homestead Resort will return to host our advanced golf camp just south of Park City, UT. This golf-intensive program is open to competitive boys and girls, ages 12 - 18, looking to take their game to new heights.

Led by Head Men's Golf Coach at University of Rochester, Dan Wesley offers competitive junior golfers a unique opportunity to play some of the best golf courses in America, greatly improve their skills and learn valuable lessons about tournament and college golf. Mornings are spent in small group and individual instruction, with an emphasis on fine-tuning existing swings and developing more consistency. Course play takes place each afternoon where instruction continues under real playing conditions.

Participants enjoy beautiful accommodations at Homestead Resort, just outside of Park City, UT. For course play, campers enjoy Soldier Hollow GC and a rotation of other Park City golf courses to experience play in multiple settings. Our camp utilizes Soldier Hollow GC for majority of morning instructional sessions. This program is suitable for intermediate and advanced golfers looking for a competitive camp experience.

    Head Men's Golf Coach, University of Rochester

    Dan Wesley is the Head Men's Golf Coach at University of Rochester. Dan has also directed Nike Junior Golf Camps in Rochester, NY in previous years and serves as co-camp coordinator for the Nike Short Game Camps.

    Head Men's Golf Coach, University of Rochester

    Head Coach Dan Wesley returned to his alma mater in 2007 to take over the Yellowjacket golf program and recently completed his 16th season as head coach in 2022-23.

    Wesley has guided the ‘Jackets to 24 tournament victories, 31 runner-ups, and 81 top-3 finishes in 139 events.

    Last season, the Yellowjackets ranked number two in school history, shooting a combined 300.8 scoring average across nine tournaments. UR won the Fred Kravetz Invitational, shooting a record score of 593, added a win at the St. John Fisher Invitational and was runner-up at the Hershey Cup. Junior Kerry Wang was named an All-American and three golfers, Wang, Gary Pan, and Brendan Frain earned All-Region honors.

    2021-22 was a record-setting award season for Rochester, as Wesley coached four golfers to All-Region 2 accolades and five to GCAA All-America Scholar praise.

    Declan Hickton was named a GCAA Honorable Mention All-American in 2020-21. He was selected as an individual to compete at the NCAA Division III Championships and placed in the top half of the field.

    UR claimed the Liberty League Championship in 2016-17 for only the third time in school history, as the Yellowjackets tallied 1,233 strokes over the 72-hole conference event spanning tournaments in the fall and spring seasons. At NCAA's UR placed 26th of 42 squads, missing the cut after scoring 637 through two rounds.

    Wesley was voted as the Liberty League Coach of the Year in 2016-17, his second award, after being recognized by the league in 2013-14.

    In 2013-14, Rochester claimed the Liberty League Championship in a match play format which earned them an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship in Greensboro, NC where they set a program scoring record in NCAA competition and finished 12th in the nation.

    Individual honors earned under Wesley’s guidance include All-American honors Nick Palladino (2011, 2012, 2013, & 2014) who also won the Phil Mickelson award for NCAA national Freshman of the Year, Jason Paek in 2018, Declan Hickton in 2021 and Kerry Wang in 2023. Palladino finished his career as the only 4-time All-American in program history.

    Wesley's golfers have claimed a total of 82 All-Conference accolades, including 34 1st Team honorees spanning the UAA and Liberty League. Nine have been selected either UAA or Liberty League Player of the Year.

    There have been 16 different All-American Scholars under Coach Wesley; Stephen Goodridge (2008), Jon Pecor (2008, 2009), Chris Driscoll (2010), Ryan Williams (2010, 2011), Dominick Schumacher (2015, 2016), G.W. VanderZwaag (2015, 2016), Jona Scott (2016, 2017), Daniel Luftspring (2016, 2017), Jason Paek (2017, 2018), Jack Mulligan (2019), Declan Hickton (2021), Nishant Datta (2021, 2022), Brendan Frain (2021, 2022), Lewis Raboy (2022), Tom Liu (2022) and Kerry Wang (2022).

    A 1994 graduate of Rochester, Wesley played for the legendary Don Smith and served as team captain his senior year. While at Rochester, Wesley played in three NCAA Championships, helping the Yellowjackets to a sixth place finish and their highest ranking ever in the national poll. Wesley also was a three time All-UAA selection.

    After graduating from Rochester with a B.S. in Psychology, Wesley served as an assistant golf professional at The Country Club of Rochester and at The Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida before moving on to sales representative positions with both Maxfli and Srixon.

    While at The Country Club of Rochester, Coach Wesley learned under Sam Urzetta, the 1950 US Amateur champion and longtime Rochester sports legend, and his son Michael, the current head professional at CCR.

    Wesley is also a current member of the Golf Coaches Association of America Hall of Fame Committee, and is a past Chairman of the NCAA All-American Committee.

    Coach Wesley resides in Pittsford with his wife Kelly (UR ’00), daughter Emma, and son Jack.

    Alexander Jones begins his second season as the full-time assistant men's and women's golf coach at Denison University in 2024-25.

    Jones was part of the NCAC women's golf coaching staff of the year for their work during the 2023-24 season. The DU women's golf team collected its fourth-straight North Coast Athletic Conference title and yet another appearance at the NCAA Championships. The Big Red won the NCAC by 12 strokes to secure the conference crown. The record-setting season concluded when Denison finished tied for 16th place in the team standings at the NCAA Championships in Nicholsville, Ky.

    From 2019-2023, Jones served as the PGA Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction for the PGM Program at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He also worked as a Volunteer Assistant Men’s Golf Coach with the historically successful Methodist University Men’s Golf Team, helping the Monarchs win the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship while finishing in second place in 2021 and in third place in 2023. He was also the advisor of the Methodist University Professional Golf Management Fellowship. In addition to these roles at Methodist, Alexander was the co-lead instructor of PGA Hope Fayetteville. PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being.

    Jones qualified for 2010 Ohio Amateur at the Kirtland Country Club, was a member of the Methodist men’s golf team from 2012-2013, qualified for the 2017 Long Island Open at the Westhampton Country Club, and was a semifinalist in the 2020 Carolinas PGA Cape Fear Match Play event.

    Jones earned his MBA from the University of Cincinnati in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in PGA Golf Management from Methodist University in 2014.

    After graduating from Methodist, Jones was a PGA Assistant Golf Professional at the Chevy Chase Club (2014-2015) and at Bethpage State Park (2017). He also took a year away from golf to participate in The World Race, an 11-month missionary project traveling to 11 countries in 11 months aiding local churches, schools, or civic groups and spreading the gospel. During this time, Jones served as a team leader, financial manager and participant of a seven-person team.

    Jones has held his Class “A” PGA certification since 2015 and has completed PGA internships at Hidden Creek Golf Club, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, Bethpage State Park and Vineyard Golf Club.

Camp Details

This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18. Nike Advanced Golf Camps are golf-intensive and create the ideal environment for the advanced player ready to take their game to the next level. Campers will hear first hand accounts of how members of our staff established themselves throughout various stages of their development. The importance of goal setting, time management, and hard work will be stressed as these are key elements to attaining success in golf and life.

2026 OVERVIEW

  • Dates: June 14-18 (Sunday - Thursday)
  • Age Group: 12-18

  • Schedule:
    • Overnight: Sunday - Thursday
    • Extended Day: Sunday - Thursday
      • Sunday: 12:30pm - 8:00pm
      • Monday - Wednesday: 9:00am - 8:00pm
      • Thursday: 7:30am - 12:00pm
    • During the week, Extended Day campers arrive around 9:00am and depart around 8:00pm. This program includes all golf activities, lunch, dinner and evening activities. A complete schedule will be given out during check-in.
  • Check-In: Registration occurs on Sunday from 12:30am-1:00pm at Homestead Resort for all campers (Overnight and Extended Day). The first golf session takes place after check-in.
  • Check-out: Camp graduation is at 11:30am on Thursday. Departure is from 12:00-12:30pm following graduation.
  • Meals: Overnight campers will receive all meals during camp (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Extended Day campers will receive lunch and dinner.
  • Program: The Advanced Camp program is specifically designed for the tournament golfer who wishes to play college golf and improve their tournament results. It is open to all skill levels of young men and women, ages 12-18, but the curriculum is geared towards players who are playing competitively. Specifically, the camp teaches the practice habits of championship golfers, fitness, mental strength, college preparation, time management, course management, academics and team camaraderie.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning instruction and afternoon course play.
  • Meals: Overnight campers will receive all meals during camp (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Extended Day campers will receive lunch and dinner.
  • Supervision: Campers are under staff supervision at all times as staff members live in adjacent rooms to overnight campers. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
  • Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
  • Facilities: Homestead Resort
  • Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
  • Housing:
    • Hotel: Homestead Resort
    • Campers Per Room: Campers stay in hotel-style rooms.
    • Roommates: Campers stay in two-person rooms and are assigned by age, gender and roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
    • Linens: Linens will be provided during camp.
    • Air Conditioning: All rooms are air-conditioned.
    • Spending Money: We recommend that each overnight camper bring $60-75 per week of spending money to cover incidentals like snacks, souvenirs and other activities. Please bring cash in a marked envelope for your child.

TRANSPORTATION

Nike Golf Camps does not provide ground transportation from airports, train stations or bus stations. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for getting campers to and from camp check-in/out.

Homestead Resort

The Homestead Golf Course was designed by PGA Senior Tour Professional Bruce Summerhayes. This spectacular course winds through the surrounding Snake Creek Valley and Wasatch Mountains. The course, located only 20 minutes from Park City, is a par 72 course measuring 7,017 yards from the back tees and plays 5,091 yards from the forward tees.
