IMPROVE YOUR GAME AND HAVE SERIOUS FUN
Welcome to the Pirate Junior Golf Camp in Greenville, NC! Join East Carolina Men's & Women's staff this summer at Ironwood Golf & Country Club and East Carolina University's newly renovated Varsity Training Center. This camp provides top-notch instruction at a world-class facility, so come improve your game and have fun with our experienced teaching professionals this summer!
This camp/clinic is not owned, operated, or otherwise controlled by East Carolina University.
This camp/clinic is open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
FULL DAY CAMPS
Full day campers receive three hours of instruction each day with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. After morning instruction and a break for lunch, campers will get to apply what they have learned out on the course (course play when available). Full Day Camps run Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am-5:00pm (Thursday will run 8:30am-1:00pm) and are open to players of all abilities, ages 12-18. Please note: Lunch is provided for full day campers each day.
*Course play will be dependent on course availability.
HALF DAY CAMPS
This program is designed to pique the interest of new golfers while also offering intermediate golfers the instruction needed to improve. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction each day with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. Half Day Camps run Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30am-12:30pm (Thursday will run 8:30am-1:00pm) are open to players of all abilities, ages 10-18. On the final day of camp, Half Day campers will receive lunch, followed by a 30-minute awards presentation. Please note: Lunch is NOT provided for half day campers, except for the final day of camp.

Camp Details
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 (varies by program). The camp staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At US Sports Camps, we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

- Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf; putting, chipping/pitching, full-swing and course etiquette. Upon arrival, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning instruction with focus on all aspects of the game including putting, chipping, sand play and full-swing.
- Lunch: Lunch is included for Full Day campers.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
- Facility: Ironwood Golf & Country Club
- Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Ironwood Golf and Country Club
Ironwood Golf and Country Club, home to the Pirates' golf programs, opened in 1996 as the first 18-hole Lee Trevino Signature Golf Course east of the Mississippi River. Winding through 200 acres of wooded terrain, the course reveals its subtle nuances while providing scenic vistas of ancient oaks, ponds, beech trees and native wildlife. the course is part of an 1,100-acre private golf community located nearby the East Carolina University campus.

CAN WE RENT CLUBS?
Through USSC Junior Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp. Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees.
