St Andrews Links® Golf Academy
St Andrews Links Academy boasts some of the finest state-of-the-art teaching facilities as well as a great short game area and driving range. While in St Andrews, Steve North and his team of PGA professional will be working on teaching our juniors the key aspects to mastering the Links game. There will be no swing reconstructions or technical pointers unless this is something the individual would like. We will be working on teaching the juniors how best to play the links game. This will include trajectory control, shot shaping and spin control. Around the greens will include bump and run chip shots, pot bunker play and long putting. All these things will help prepare the juniors for the challenges that lie ahead of them when playing Links golf.
St Andrews Links® Golf Courses
St Andrews is famously known around the world as the Home of Golf. In total the town has 189 holes of golf to choose from which offers juniors on our golf camps an exciting variety of links golf to experience. St Andrews Links Trust currently operates six courses on the links – the world-renowned Old Course, the New Course (established in 1895), the Jubilee (1897), the Eden (1914), the Strathtyrum (1993) and the nine-hole Balgove. A seventh – The Castle Course – has been built in a panoramic coastal setting to the south of the town.
*Courses scheduled are below, but parents are welcome to place their name on the lottery, extend their trip and play The Old Course.
St Andrews Golf Links
The Eden Course - Only slightly more forgiving than its contemporaries on the seaward side of the Links, the Eden Course was built in 1914 by Harry S. Colt whose use of natural boundaries and severe bunkers provides a course full of character.
At first glance, Dumbarnie Links may have the appearance of the style of the classic links courses where The Open Championship has been played since 1860. However, the extensive 345-acre site at Dumbarnie is particularly special. Its dual elevations, which are connected by a flowing escarpment, have provided the opportunity to create a number of elevated tees where holes play directly towards panoramic views of the expansive Firth of Forth.
Kingsbarns Golf Links
Kingsbarns is situated 7 miles from St Andrews along 1.8 miles of picturesque North Sea coastline, where each hole embraces the sea. In addition to enjoying our Worldwide Top 100 ranked course, we hope lifelong memories of our comfortable, friendly and attentive service complete your “Kingsbarns Experience”.
The Torrance Course
The Torrance Course is a traditional par 72 championship course where the front 9 works its way around the hotel prior to utilizing the property's sea views on the back nine. Blending the principles of links golf with a more modern style, the course provides memorable golf days for players of all abilities.
Fairmont St Andrews Golf Courses
Participants will play either The Torrance or The Kittocks Golf Courses. Conveniently located at the Fairmont St Andrews where all participants in the Parent/Child Camps stay, these golf courses are among the best in the world. Fairmont St Andrews, situated in the "Home of Golf", is proud to be recognised as one of the top golf resorts - voted 18th in "The World's Top Golf Resorts" by Conde Nast Traveler reader's poll & ranked number 22 in "The Worlds Best Golf Hotels" by Golf Digest.
Fairmont St Andrews has also been awarded IAGTO European Golf Resort of the Year 2012 and Resort Hotel Of The Year at The Golf Tourism Scotland Awards - The forth time in five years! With our two superb golf courses, The Torrance and The Kittocks, you can elevate your game just by stepping on the course.

Lives Up to the Hype
There are very few things in life that live up to the hype, and even fewer things that exceed it. Our trip last week exceeded the hype. You guys do it right all the way around. I won't go on and on here, but your personal service was exceptional. Words don't do it justice to how relaxing it was to have everything all set up, being driven around and not worrying, and all the personal touches. I'll end by saying a very heartfelt thank you. You guys are a class act and wonderful hosts. I hope to be able to come back soon.

Marc, Jaimie, and the entire staff at St. Andrews Golf Travel go out of their way to make the entire experience special. Every detail - tee times, transportation, golf instruction, lodging is looked after meticulously and the result is the golf trip of a lifetime!

Highly unique experience being a parent-child camp overseas
Highly unique experience being a parent-child camp overseas. Tyler had fun but didn't have as many same-age golfers to connect with (most were either younger or older). 5 days of consecutive golf and instruction was physically too much so I'd recommend having a one day break in between. Also, it wasn't necessary to play both Fairmont golf courses. I would have like to have played more traditional St Andrews course than these. Kingsbarn was a highlight.

Everything is a 5-star
We planned our golf trip with St. Andrews Golf Travel in June of 2022. The trip was very well organized by the operators (Marc and Jamie) and both organizers were very pleasant, helpful and had an obvious desire to show us the best trip possible. The courses they chose for our group to play were well chosen with respect to difficulty of play, different playing styles and picturesque scenery. Timing of play (in terms of days) was perfect. We had a lot of problems with the travel portion (via British Airways) and Marc and Jamie were more than helpful in arranging transport for us so that we could pick up our lost clubs and getting from A to B in order to get home. I cannot say enough about this company - should you be planning a visit to play golf in St. Andrews, this is the company to use. Everything is 5-star and no lack of attention to detail. Everything was perfect. Thank you St Andrews Golf Travel!!!
