WHAT FAMILIES SAY ABOUT Cal Girls Lacrosse Summer Camp
33 Reviews
Playing at a high level with new girls all over the country. She loved being able to meet new people that challenged and made her a better player! The scrimmages and games in the Memorial Stadium were the best part, so maybe more of that!
The dorms were organized and clean. The coaches were friendly and welcoming to parents and campers. The Communication between the parents, coaches, and even the people at USSC was amazing! It really helped parents feel at ease and able to focus solely on our daughters. My daughter said that she learned so much and already sees a lot of improvement. She is so excited to bring all her new skills back to her high school team!
The Cal lax coaches were awesome!! Camp was so much fun and very well organized. I learned a lot of new things and the coaches force you to really push yourself. I would recommend this camp to others due to the level of experience and knowledge of it's coaches. The balance of instruction, scrimmages and free time was perfect!
Upon picking my daughter up at the conclusion of camp her first words were ”Thanks for bringing me Dad - this was the best camp that I’ve been to”. She went on to say how great the coaches were. Cal has been her first choice for some time and her experience this week only furthers those sentiments. She’s already looking forward to the next Cal camp.
The Cal Lacrosse camp had an excellent balance of incorporating intense play and fun athletic games. They put a lot of emphasize on working hard and getting results. The coaches were not only top notch, but friendly and very easy to approach. They made my camp experience so special and meaningful. I will never forget my time at this camp, I hope to go again next summer!
The highlights included being taught by each and every member of the coaching staff before, during, or after the drill we were doing. When making these slight adjustments the coaches were emphasizing, I was able to help not only myself, but I was able to help my teammates. Also, having the reassurance that nobody cares if you drop the ball or make a mistake was a great aspect of this camp.
This was an amazing camp! I learned so much and made some amazing friends. The instruction, nightly games, a tour of the campus and the recruiting talk were just a few of the highlights of camp.
I would highly recommend the Cal Lacrosse Camp to anyone who loves lacrosse and is interested in taking their game to the next level! The coaches are fantastic and the drills always keep you busy. You get a lot of playing time, and it is a great opportunity to play in front of college coaches...and the experience was awesome!
My daughters have participated in many Nike Lacrosse Camps over the last 5 summers and they have all been fabulous! Excellent instruction, flawlessly organized and fun!

Interacting with Cal players and receiving one on one feedback from the coaches
I loved the Coaches and Student Coaches at Cal - playing with them was amazing.
My child had fun and learned a few new skills and loved the prizes at the end.
Learning techniques from a Cal LAX players who might play in the Olympic
As an incoming 9th grader, she knows she isn't being recruited and wouldn't want to take attention away from any of the older girls but she appreciated that all of the coaches made there way around to all of the age groups for at least a few minutes. Thank you for making her first impression of Cal a good one.
Lots of opportunities to be shot on as a goalie
Great coaches made it a fun experience
She had a great time, got to meet a lot of new people, got play with people above her skill level, and just got a lot of practice and playing time in the sun.
