  • Coach Pilat and his staff are passionate, hardworking and knows their stuff. Great Staff!
  • This camp has a great coaching staff, they will give you the tools and techniques that you need to succeed and it will help you to prepare yourself whether your moving up to high school or collage lacrosse!
  • Bill Pilat's camp is the best instructional camp I have ever been to. It was a great mixture of both fun and learning the fundamentals with focus clearly on the position of goalie. The staff was experienced and personable I have sent both my son and daughter to this camp and both have excelled with the training learned there. I would highly recommend to any goalie.
  • The coaches did a wonderful job advancing individual players' skill set while maintaining a competitive, yet playful environment for the athletes to grow. There was no sense of favoritism as all the athletes received equal attention. Although fun was emphasized, my son has attended the camp twice and has left a better player each time.
  • Amazing program that not only will teach you great goalie skills, but life skills as well.

  • The Goalie school is great for all athletes and all skill levels. It teaches you little ways to become that much better. This is a great camp to improve your skills and meet new people.
  • I just wanted to tell you that my child attended your Goalie School last week and it was by far the best camp ever! I promise we have spent a lot of money on camps and private lessons and they learned so much at your camp. Most camps simply don't focus enough on goalie instruction! This was by far the best choice and investment we have ever made in our childs future as a goalie.

A four-year letter winner at the goalie position at the University of Maryland, Schwartz helped the Terps to three NCAA Division I championship games (1982, 1984, 1985) and was named to both the ACC’s All-Tournament team and the North/South Senior All-Star game in 1985. As a goalie with Maryland’s field hockey team, Schwartz also was a four-year letter recipient and still remains fourth on the Terps’ all-time goals against average list.

Schwartz began her coaching career in 1989 as an assistant field hockey coach at North Alleghany High School (Pa.). After three years at North Alleghany, Schwartz moved on to Mt. Lebanon High School (Pa.) where she served as the head coach of the girls’ lacrosse team for two years. While in Pennsylvania, Schwartz founded the Pittsburgh Women’s Lacrosse Club in 1991. Schwartz’s accomplishments garnered her a coaching career at the college level. In 1996, she became the head women’s lacrosse coach of Davidson College (N.C.). Schwartz joined Roanoke College’s women’s lacrosse team in the 2005 season as the program’s eighth head coach since the program began in 1978.

Schwartz has served on several NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Committees, including a stint as the chairperson of the NCAA Division I South Region selection committee. In the 2020-21 season Brown led the Dragons to a three-way tie at the top of the GMAC standings. Senior standout Elle Hamilton was named GMAC Midfielder of the Year, First Team All-Region, and Third Team All-American.

She has coached numerous All Conference standouts, including 43 selections in the last six seasons. In TU's first year in the GMAC in 2019, she led the Dragons to the regular-season conference championship with a perfect 7-0 record and earned a spot in the GMAC title game. Standout Elle Hamilton was named the GMAC Attacker of the Year, while Brown was named conference Coach of the Year.

She led the Dragons to three straight GLIAC Tournament Championship game appearances from 2013-2015. Goalkeeper Jessica Bombard and attacker Emily Roussel were named IWLCA All Americans, while in 2014, they also had two players earn top honors in the conference, as GLIAC co-Attacker of the Year Emily Roussel and two-time GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year Jessica Bombard were honored. Bombard was also named Goalkeeper of the Year in 2013, while Alexandria Quast earned All-American honors after setting numerous game, season, and career NCAA Division II records.

Brown previously served as Head Coach at Lycoming College, leading the team to a 19-17 overall record, 15-8 in the Middle Atlantic Conference over her two seasons. During that span she coached three All-Region and nine All-Conference players while also guiding 18 student-athletes to Academic All-Conference honors.

She played lacrosse at Wagner College. A standout goalkeeper, Brown still ranks second all-time in Wagner history in career minutes played, career saves and career goals against average. She also holds the record for minutes played in a season and ranks second in saves in a season. A co-captain of the team in her senior year, she was ranked on lax.com as one of the top-12 goalies in all of Division I.

Brown earned a bachelor's degree in public policy and administration from Wagner College in 2005 and is finishing her master's degree in liberal arts from Lock Haven. She is certified as a lacrosse referee by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and U.S. Lacrosse.
