Join Nike Camp Director Chris Button this summer for an unforgettable week of lacrosse! Train with the expert Lakeshore Lacrosse staff in a dynamic, high-energy environment designed to help you grow as a player.

This skills camp—open to boys ages 5–16—focuses on developing strong fundamentals while advancing each athlete’s technical and tactical abilities. At Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp, we emphasize building meaningful connections between campers and coaches to create a supportive, confidence-boosting experience. New to the sport and don’t have equipment? No problem! Contact US Sports Camps, and we’ll coordinate with camp directors to help arrange equipment rentals.

    Chris Button

    Grew up in upstate New York and attended Fairport High School. As a senior, Fairport finished #14 Nationally and lost in the NY State Championship game.

    Chris then attended Le Moyne College, in Syracuse, NY and was a 4 year member for the Dolphins lacrosse team. During his time there, he won 2 NE-10 conference championships and in 2013 won the Division II National championship. He finished his time there as a top 10 goal scorer in program history. Post graduation, Chris returned to his alma mater Fairport and helped coach them to the state championship game in 2014. Button moved to Boston, MA and was an assistant coach at Regis College as well as worked for 3d New England. He ran the Box program for 3d, and coached youth travel teams. After the Boston stint, Button moved to Chicagoland and started coaching at Benedictine University. He was the assistant coach for a year and then took over as head coach in 2019. During his 4 years at BenU, he won back-to-back conference championships and earned automatic bids to the NCAA tournament. He was named NACC coach of the year in 2021. He also coached the Offensive Player of the year and All-American in his last 2 seasons as head coach. Button is the all-time winningest coach in BenU history. Button finished his men’s college coaching journey at Concordia University of Chicago for the 2023-2024 season.

There is high demand for these first-come, first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, Lakeshore Lacrosse is offering a four day camp (9:00am-3:00pm) for ages 5-16.

  • Schedule: 9:00am-12:00pm (Little Laxers); 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Thursday
  • Check-In: 8:30-9:00am at the Athletic Fields
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
  • Program: The Skills program is designed to provide campers with fundamental skills, position-specific training, and in-game tactical knowledge needed to enhance their game. The Little Laxer program is designed for players who are new to the sport of lacrosse. Campers can jump-start their stick work, learn fundamental concepts, and build a solid foundation with guidance from highly skilled staff in a fun and encouraging environment.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE

  • Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.
CAMP CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Monday, July 20th to Thursday, July 23rd

  • Check-in: 8:30-9:00am at the Athletic Fields
  • Check-out: 3:00pm at the Athletic Fields
MEALS

Lunch is NOT provided. Please bring a healthy lunch and snacks each day.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Campers will be supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Reversible Jersey & Prizes: Campers will receive a Nike Lacrosse Reversible Jersey and prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience at the director's discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your protective goggles, mouthpiece, cleats, and lacrosse stick.
  • Facility: Montrose Fields
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on site to assist with illnesses or injuries. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours, so please arrange to pick up your child on time.
