This skills camp—open to boys ages 5–16—focuses on developing strong fundamentals while advancing each athlete’s technical and tactical abilities. At Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp, we emphasize building meaningful connections between campers and coaches to create a supportive, confidence-boosting experience.   • James Ford

    James Ford was born in Massachusetts, but has called the Chicagoland area home for most of his life.

    James Ford

    He is currently coaching Lakeshore premier girls teams and box lacrosse with Chicago Style. Ford has played competitive lacrosse since middle school and went on to play Divison III at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois where he was 2x All-Conference. He graduated in 2023 with a Business Administration degree. James has a passion for growing the game and has been involved in the training and development of boys and girls of all ages and skill levels.

There is high demand for these first-come, first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, Lakeshore Lacrosse is offering a four day camp (9:00am-3:00pm) for ages 5-16.

  • Program: The Skills program is designed to provide campers with fundamental skills, position-specific training, and in-game tactical knowledge needed to enhance their game. The Little Laxer program is designed for players who are new to the sport of lacrosse. Campers can jump-start their stick work, learn fundamental concepts, and build a solid foundation with guidance from highly skilled staff in a fun and encouraging environment.

  • Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.
CAMP CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

Monday, July 20th to Thursday, July 23rd

  • Check-in: 8:30-9:00am at the Athletic Fields
  • Check-out: 3:00pm at the Athletic Fields
MEALS

Lunch is NOT provided. Please bring a healthy lunch and snacks each day.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Campers will be supervised by staff during camp hours.
  • Reversible Jersey & Prizes: Campers will receive a Nike Lacrosse Reversible Jersey and prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience at the director's discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your protective goggles, mouthpiece, cleats, and lacrosse stick.
  • Facility: Montrose Fields
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on site to assist with illnesses or injuries. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours, so please arrange to pick up your child on time.

Lakeshore Lacrosse is a female run company for the female athlete. The vision of Lakeshore Lacrosse is to provide a medium for women to develop their skills, test their strengths, embrace sportsmanship and experience camaraderie with others who love the game. All of the Lakeshore Lacrosse programs are designed to support the female athlete, including body, mind and spirit.
