    Lindsay Delaney marks her 18th season as the Rowan University women’s lacrosse head coach in 2025 and is the second-longest tenured coach in the program’s history.

    She owns a career record of 162-98 and has guided the Profs to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament six times. Delaney’s Profs have also qualified for the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament all nine years that it has been held and have reached the championship game six times.

    The 2003 Rowan alum has seen her teams earn recognition on the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad 11 times, including the last eight consecutive seasons. Delaney has also coached 10 All-America and 62 All-Region Team honorees, as well as nine selections to the IWLCA Division III North-South All-Star Game.

    Lindsey-Kate Smith enters her ninth season as assistant coach with the Rowan women’s lacrosse program in 2025, having become a full-time coach in 2021.

    She joined the Profs after serving as an assistant coach at the Florida Institute of Technology for two seasons, 2014 to 2016. The Panthers, a Division II program, went 17-16 during those years and qualified for the Sunshine State Conference tournament in both.

    Smith began her coaching career serving on the staff at her alma mater, Saint Joseph’s University, first as a graduate assistant (2008-10) and then as assistant coach (2010-12), helping the Hawks reach the Atlantic 10 Championship game in 2009.

    An Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team honoree as a senior, Smith, formerly McCool, remains is Saint Joseph's all-time leader with 151 career ground balls. A two-time co-captain and the team’s Most Outstanding Performer in 2008, she led the Hawks in assists all four seasons and currently ranks third in career assists with 65.

    Former Rowan lacrosse standout Nicole Valianti begins her 10th season as an assistant coach with the Profs in 2021.

    Valianti played for the Profs from 2008 to 2011 and finished her career with 56 goals and 19 assists. She was named the NJAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2011 and was a two-time selection to the All-Conference first team, while also earning Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Boardwalk All-Region honors twice. Valianti, who totaled 27 goals and eight assists in 73 games with the Rowan field hockey team, was the ECAC Metro/South Region Defensive Player of the Year in 2011 and an ECAC All-Star in lacrosse.

    She is currently the field hockey coach at her alma mater, Collingswood High School, and previously served as the Panthers’ girls lacrosse coach.

    A native of Oaklyn, NJ, Valianti is a teacher in the Woodlynne School District.

You can expect a high demand for these first-come-first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, Rowan University is offering a one-night Overnight Camp with and Extended Day (8:00AM-8:30PM) option available for girls ages 11-18 (middle school players to rising seniors).

  • Check-in: Overnight Campers: Check-in on Wednesday, June 25th, at 8:00-8:30 am at Holly Point Commons. Extended Day Campers: Check-in takes places on Wednesday between 8-8:30 am at Holly Point Commons.
  • Check-out: A closing ceremony will take place at the field on at 4:00pm. Extended Day campers will leave directly from the field. Overnight campers will checkout from the dorm following the closing ceremony.
  • Extended Day Schedule: Wed 8:00AM-8:30PM, Thurs 9:00 AM-4:30 PM **Times subject to change
  • Meals: All meals are provided for Overnight campers. Lunch and dinner are provided for all Extended Day (commuter) campers.
  • Program: The Skills program is designed to provide campers the fundamental skills, position specific training and in-game tactical knowledge needed to enhance your game.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE:

  • Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.
CAMP CHECK-IN

Wednesday, June 25th

  • Check-in takes place Wednesday, June 25th, at 8:00am at Holly Point Commons Pod D.
CAMP CHECK-OUT

Thursday, June 26th

  • A closing ceremony will take place at the field on at 4:15pm. Extended Day campers will leave directly from the field. Overnight campers will checkout from the dorm following the closing ceremony.
2025 HOUSING
  • Dorm: Holly Point Commons
  • Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room
  • Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
  • Bathrooms: Shared
  • Linens: Not included. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
  • Air Conditioning: Yes | No fan needed - dorms air-conditioned

SUPERVISION

The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your cleats, protective goggles & mouthpiece, lacrosse stick(s), helmet and pads (Goalies).
  • Facility: Rowan Soccer & Lacrosse Complex
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS

Checklist of Things to Bring: We recommend that all Extended Day Campers bring a daily pack with the following items: Along with your lacrosse equipment, we recommend that you bring a day pack with the following items: water bottle, weather appropriate clothing, cleats, and walking shoes.

Camp Schedule & Meals:
  • Wednesday: Extended Day Campers should arrive dressed and ready to play 8:00am-8:30am. You will be assigned a counselor and given a complete schedule of all events during the week. Day Campers stay until 8:30pm. Lunch and dinner are provided.
  • Thursday: Extended Day Camper Hours - 9:00am-4:30pm. Lunch is provided. Check-in at 9:00 am at the Field. Check-out is immediately after the camp concludes at 4:30pm. Departure time may change depending on the event.
TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours, so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
