Sign up for our new Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp at Loyola Marymount University and elevate your game with elite-level training, while making lifelong memories. Designed for players with competitive lacrosse experience, the camp offers a unique opportunity to train under college coaches and current and former collegiate athletes. Loyola Marymount’s beautiful campus, located just minutes from Los Angeles Int’l Airport and the beach, provides the ideal camp setting.
Overnight Camp: Our overnight camp at LMU offers an immersive, on-campus experience where campers reside in the campus dormitories in adjacent rooms to the camp staff.
The tuition includes all lacrosse training, housing, meals, fun evening activities, as well as college recruiting and sports psychology seminars in the evenings. Both campers and parents are invited to join us for evening educational seminars during the week. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a college athlete, and the different paths kids can take in sports. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.
Day Camp (9:00am – 5:00pm): The Nike Lacrosse Camp at Loyola Marymount runs from 9:00am-5:00pm (schedule varies by day) and includes position-specific drills, game strategy, scrimmages, and off-field training sessions. Open to players ages 10-17, campers must bring their own lunch. Training takes place on LMU’s state-of-the-art athletic fields, where the university’s teams practice and compete.

Delaney Benson is the head women’s lacrosse coach at Chapman University and serves as girls lacrosse director for Next Athletes and Nike Sports Camps.

Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, Whittier College Leslie Escobar
Leslie Escobar is the head women’s lacrosse coach at Whittier College and coaches at several Nike Girl’s Lacrosse Camps. Escobar was the assistant coach for Fullerton College since 2019. Leslie is also the head coach for Valencia High School of Orange County. Escobar is also a women's lacrosse official with the Orange County Umpire Board.

Kulsum Baig is a certified athletic trainer and handles all athletic training needs for Next Athletes’ Nike Sports Camps. With a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University and a Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Injury Management from the University of Kentucky, Kulsum has worked with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and clinical levels.

You can expect high demand for these first-come-first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, the Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp at Loyola Marymount University will be offering an overnight camp with a day camp (9:00am-5:00pm) option.
2025 OVERVIEW

- Check-In: Overnight Campers: 11:30am-12:00pm at Lawton Plaza. Day Campers: 12:00-12:30pm for day campers at Lawton Plaza. Orientation (All Campers): 12:30-12:45pm. Note: Following camp check-in, overnight campers will store their luggage in a secure room at Doheny Hall and return immediately to Lawton Plaza for orientation. Overnight campers will check into their dormitory after the first day of training.
- Check-out: Following the closing ceremony at 12:30pm on Wednesday at Lawton Plaza.
- Day Camp Schedule: SUN 12:30PM-5PM, MON-TUE 9AM-5PM, WED 9AM-12:30 **Times subject to change
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.
- Apparel: All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Program: This program is designed to provide young athletes with a better understanding of their fundamentals and improve their competitive results. Skill refinement along with constructive feedback will be the focus of the camp and allows each participant to gain a greater knowledge of the proper mechanics and ways to improve themselves individually.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE
- Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.
CAMP INFO
The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change each year. Please note: Camp is closed to spectators during daytime hours. Parents are highly encouraged to attend the orientation on the first day and closing ceremony on the final day!
SUMMER OVERNIGHT CAMP
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp. The camp utilizes Drollinger Field as its training facility.
SUMMER DAY CAMP (9:00AM – 5:00PM)
The Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp at Loyola Marymount University also offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only. The schedule is modified on the first and last days of camp.

- Day Camper Drop-Off (Mon-Wed): 8:45-9:00am at Drollinger Field
- Day Camper Pick-Up (Sun-Tues): 5:00pm at Drollinger Field
- Day Camper Pick-Up/Closing Ceremony Location (Wed): 12:30pm at Lawton Plaza
- Parking: Parents can use Drollinger Parking Plaza for all drop-offs and pick-ups. Pay to park $3/40min, use license plate number at kiosk.
PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us from 6:30-7:30pm each night at Lawton Plaza for evening seminars. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a collegiate athlete, how to choose the right school, and important sports psychology topics. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.
2025 HOUSING
- Dorm: Doheny Hall
- Number of Campers Per Room: 2 campers per room
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
- Air Conditioning: None. Campers are in their dorms for very limited hours during the daytime and nightly temperatures are typically mild. However, campers are welcome to bring a small fan.
SUPERVISION
The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol, and tobacco are strictly prohibited and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Reversible Jersey & Prizes: Campers will receive a Nike Lacrosse Reversible Jersey and prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
- Equipment Needed: Please bring your helmet, mouthpiece, cleats, lacrosse stick, gloves, and pads.
- Facility: Lawton Plaza
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

OVERNIGHT INFORMATION
- Check-in: On the first day of camp, check-in will be between 11:30am-12:00pm
- Check-in Location: Lawton Plaza
- After overnight campers check in, they will store their luggage in a secure location. Overnight campers will check-in to their dormitories in the late afternoon after the first day of training.
- Campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Check out: Following the closing ceremony at 12:30pm at Lawton Plaza
- Meals: Day 1: Dinner | Days 2-3: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Day 4: Breakfast
- Room Key Deposit: Please bring a $25 check made out to “Next Athletes, LLC”
- Closing Ceremony: The closing ceremony will take place at Lawton Plaza. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.

- Sunday: 12:00-5:00pm. Meals are not provided.
- Monday-Tuesday: 9:00am-5:00pm. Meals are not provided. Day campers must pack a lunch.
- Wednesday: 9:00am-12:30pm. Check-out is following the 12:30pm closing ceremony. Meals are not provided.
- The closing ceremony will take place at Lawton Plaza. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
- Meals: Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.
