Longtime Camp Director Mario Enea is excited to host the inaugural Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp at BraveHeart Lacrosse. Held at the brand-new BraveHeart Lacrosse facility in Owasso, this camp is designed for players of all skill levels who are eager to elevate their game in a fun, competitive, and supportive atmosphere. Through focused instruction in shooting, stick skills, fundamentals, individual skill development, and game strategy, campers will build confidence and improve every aspect of their play.

This exclusive training opportunity will feature two separate camp sessions, giving players the chance to choose the schedule that works best for them: a morning session (8:00 AM-11:00 AM) or an afternoon session (12:00 PM-3:00 PM). To maximize instruction and individual attention, each session is limited to just 10 campers. This small-group format ensures personalized coaching, direct feedback from the staff, more repetitions during drills, and a focused training environment designed to accelerate skill development and confidence on the field.

    Camp Director

    Nike Lacrosse Camps Director | Founder & CEO, BraveHeart Lacrosse Mario Enea has dedicated over 35 years to developing lacrosse players, coaches and programs across the country. A former collegiate All-American caliber player, professional player and accomplished coach, Enea has served as a Nike Lacrosse Camps director since 1997, helping introduce thousands of young athletes to the sport while emphasizing skill development, leadership and character.

    At the University of California, Berkeley, Enea helped lead the Golden Bears to a 56-5 record and two Western Collegiate Lacrosse League championships. He earned All-WCLL honors in 1994 and 1995, was named Most Inspirational Player in 1994, served as 2x team captain and represented the West Coast in the Division I North-South Senior All-Star Game. In 1996, he was drafted into the Major Indoor Lacrosse League and played professionally for one season.

    Enea began coaching at Stevenson School in Pebble Beach, California and later served as head coach at Santa Clara University, the University of Oklahoma, Santa Catalina, Carmel and Palma high schools. As Oklahoma’s head coach from 2017 to 2019, he compiled a 31-12 record, led the Sooners to three playoff appearances and reached two Lone Star Alliance championship games. Across his coaching career, he has developed more than 150 high school and collegiate All-Americans and helped establish numerous lacrosse programs.

    His honors include US Lacrosse High School Coach of the Year in 2013, Lone Star Alliance College Coach of the Year in 2017, induction into the University of California, Berkeley Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2017 and induction into the Stevenson School Hall of Fame in 2020.

    Today, Enea is the founder and CEO of BraveHeart Lacrosse, a year round, climate-controlled training facility in Owasso, Oklahoma, serving boys and girls ages 8 and up. Through small group instruction, individualized development, camps and specialized training, BraveHeart is dedicated to raising the level of play, participation, awareness and expectations within Oklahoma’s lacrosse community.

    Enea’s coaching philosophy emphasizes high standards, purposeful repetition, accountability and a lasting love for the game. His mission is to develop not only better lacrosse players, but also confident, resilient young people who carry the lessons of sport into every aspect of their lives.

This camp is limited to 10 spots per session! We encourage you to register early as spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This winter, USSC is offering a three-day camp (8:00AM-11:00AM or 12:00PM-3:00PM) for players ages 8-13 at the Nike Boys Lacrosse Camp, hosted at the BraveHeart Training Center in Owasso.   • Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. After all team members have successfully registered, contact us to receive a $25 refund per camper.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
  • Reversible Jersey & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Lacrosse Camps Reversible Jersey and prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the directors discretion.
  • Equipment Needed: Please bring your helmet, mouthpiece, cleats, lacrosse stick, gloves, pads and cleats or basketball shoes.
  • Facility: Climate controlled facility with artificial turf.
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
