On Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, University of Hartford Director of Athletics & Recreation Alicia Queally announced that Jen Fallon is the next head coach of the women's lacrosse program.

    Camp Director

"We are excited to bring Jen Fallon to Hartford! Jen has a tremendous coaching background and will bring continued success to our women's lacrosse program. I'm excited for our team to be able to be coached and mentored by someone of Jen's caliber. I have no doubt that the team will continue to soar under her leadership."

Fallon joins the Hawks after 19 seasons as the head coach at the University of New Haven. During her tenure with the Chargers, Fallon won 218 games (the most in program history) along with securing the program's only Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) Championship in 2009. Jen also led New Haven to eight NCAA Tournament appearances, including each of the past three seasons. Fallon has been named conference coach of the year six times, most recently earning the 2025 NE10 Coach of the Year honor, and holds a career winning percentage of .657 (218-114).

"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead the University of Hartford Women's Lacrosse program," said Fallon. "I want to thank Alicia Queally and the search committee for their time, energy, and trust in me. The department's commitment to an exceptional student-athlete experience was clear in every conversation. I'm so impressed by the success seen across Hartford Athletics and excited to build on that foundation. I look forward to learning from the administration, coaches, and support staff as we work to continue to elevate the program and create a championship culture that supports our student-athletes both on and off the field!"

Over her 19 seasons in New Haven, Fallon coached 25 All-Americans and 60 All-Region selections. The 2008 Inside Lacrosse National Coach of the Year, Fallon led her teams to multiple Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Top 25 rankings, most recently finishing at #17 in the final regular season poll on May 5th, 2025.

In 2025, Fallon guided the University of New Haven to a 13-6 overall record, including a 9-1 mark in NE10 play. The Chargers fell in the NE10 Quarterfinals but earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, where they picked up a first-round victory over Saint Anselm College before falling in the second round at Adelphi University. This marked the 16th consecutive NE10 Tournament appearance and third consecutive NCAA Tournament berth under Fallon's leadership.

Prior to her time at New Haven, Fallon served as the head girls' lacrosse and girls' soccer coach, as well as a physical education teacher at Greens Farms Academy. She also held additional responsibilities in policy and curriculum development and athletic game management.

Fallon began her coaching career at Sacred Heart University in 1997, where she was named head women's soccer coach. During her tenure, Jen also served as the school's assistant compliance coordinator for two years.

As a collegiate lacrosse player at Sacred Heart University, Fallon was a three-time Division II All-America selection (1994–96) and remains Sacred Heart's all-time scoring leader in career points (264) and goals (212).

Fallon earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Sacred Heart in 1996 and is a native of Milford, Connecticut.
