DROP IN/WALK IN REGISTRATIONS:

1.) Find the week(s) of camp you would like to register for

3.) During the checkout process, indicate which days you plan on coming to camp for the week(s) you selected

4.) Complete the USSC Health & Release Form on your parent portal account

    Charles "Coach Rob" Robertson, Jr.

    Camp Director

    Charles "Coach Rob" Robertson, Jr. has over 15 years of experience of working and coaching in youth sports. He is the Camp Director for the Nike Rec Camp at Sofive Raleigh - Soccer Focus and the Assistant Coach at Averett University for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field.

    Charles "Coach Rob" Robertson, Jr.

    Camp Director

    Coach Rob has served as a Performance Trainer for Redline Athletics and Athletics Director for PreEminent Charter School. Prior to that, he was the Head Track and Field Coach and Elementary Physical Education Teacher at Cardinal Charter Academy.

    Coach Rob also had previous Cross Country and Track and Field coaching stints with Hobbton High School 2017-2021, where he won four conference championships and four times was named “Sampson County Coach of the Year.” He also coached two state champions. Robertson was an assistant coach at the Carolina Eagles USATF Track Club in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2009.

    From 2010-2016, Robertson served his country as a Captain in the United States Army

    Born in nearby South Boston, Virginia, Robertson began high school in Wuerzburg High School in Germany, where he broke a school record in the 4x800-meter as a freshman (still holds today) and finished high school at Meade High School in Ft. Meade, Maryland, where he guided his cross country team to the cross country championships his senior year and was named cross country, indoor track and outdoor track MVP his senior year, as well as recognized as the school’s “Male Athlete of the Year.” He also lettered twice in football and three times in basketball.

    Coach Rob graduated from Campbell with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2009. He later earned his master’s degree in secondary education from Liberty University in 2017 and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Education in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy.

    Robertson is a USATF Level 1 certified coach.

    Sports is a family affair for Robertson. His father competed in football and baseball for two years at Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and his sister--in-law and brother have held college coaching positions at various. His brother Terrence Robertson is currently the Director of Operations for Women’s Volleyball for the University of Tennessee.

    Robertson currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. He has two sons, Layvin (8) and Cairo (4).

You can expect high demand for these first-come-first-serve camper spots. With that in mind, we encourage you to register now!

CAMP INFO:

  • Ages: 5-13

  • Gender: Co-ed

  • Camp Hours:

    • Full Day: 9:00am-4:00pm

    • Extended Care: 7:30-9:00am and 4:00pm-5:30pm (additional weekly cost during registration)

  • Meals: Cheese pizza is available on-site for purchase, or you can bring a packed lunch.
  • Location: Sofive Raleigh

*Check-in starts 15 minutes before camp start time on the first day of camp

CAMP OVERVIEW:

This recreation camp is soccer based - campers will play fun soccer-based games and scrimmages. Other camp favorites such as Capture the Flag, Dodge Ball & Kickball may also be played.

​Through spirited play, campers experience the thrill of soccer and team play at the area's most exciting and comprehensive soccer camp. Your child will experience a fun, energetic day in a safe and controlled environment.​

All necessary camp information is on this page. If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Fun activities: The camp offers a wide range of age-appropriate games and enjoyable activities for your child to discover and enjoy. Campers will get the chance to explore and engage in various traditional sports and games!

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age

  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided.

  • Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

  • Camp T-shirt: Campers who register for our full-week options will receive a Nike Sports Camps t-shirt

SIBLING DISCOUNT

We’re excited to offer a discount for families with multiple children attending this camp! If you’re registering two or more siblings, please provide your information here to receive a discount code that can be used during registration.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience

  • Equipment needed: Sneakers, athletic clothes, water bottle, snacks, and sunscreen.

  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

  • Sneakers (Cleats are not allowed)
  • Shin guards (Recommended but not required)
  • Athletic clothing
  • Water bottle
  • Packed lunch and snacks
  • Small gym bag/backpack

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

CAMP TUITION PAYMENTS

Full payment of camp fees must be completed by the first day of the month before camp. For example:

  • June Camps: final payment is due on May 1
  • July Camps: final payment is due on June 1
  • August Camps: final payment is due on July 1

Any camper with an unpaid balance 10 days before the start of their camp will forfeit all camp fees paid to date and be removed from the camp.

Your confirmation email shows your balance due and balance due date. Final payments can be made through the US Sports Camps Customer Portal or by phone at 1-800-645-3226.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours before camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for the tuition fees paid, valid for one year for any sport and transferable to any immediate family member. Please note that participants who do not attend their registered session (no-shows) or fail to notify USSC at least 24 hours prior to check-in will not receive a voucher or refund.

Refunds are available only if the Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your payment due date (1st of the month prior to your camp start date).

BEHAVIOR POLICIES

We may ask campers who require 1×1 supervision, disrupt the camp experience, or threaten the safety of themselves or others to leave camp. Behaviors meriting expulsion include, but are not limited to: a cause or threat of violence, putting themselves or others in danger, possession of a weapon, possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, drugs or illegal substance, robbery, damage to property, sexual misconduct or assault, harassment, hazing, racist remarks or acts, or intimidation. In those cases, we will contact a parent to pick up the child immediately. We do not issue refunds to campers who are asked to leave camp.
