NIKE Baseball Camps Announces Its New Camp Location At Bloomsburg University
San Rafael, CA - NIKE Baseball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 of all abilities and is pleased to announce its latest camp addition at Bloomsburg University, July 15-19, to the 2012 NIKE Baseball Camp schedule.
“Each summer we look to improve our offerings of NIKE Baseball Camp across the country. This summer is no exception with the addition of Bloomsburg University” says Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps. “Our camp Directors are our partners and as such have a major stake in providing camps of the highest quality; camps that are fun and improve the skills of each camper.”
Directing the camp is head baseball coach, Mike Collins. Collins returns as the head coach of the Bloomsburg University baseball team for his seventh season in 2012. In his first six years, Collins has led the Huskies to 106 wins. Over that span, the Huskies have had 20 All-PSAC East selections and two All-Region selections. In 2011, the Huskies earned their first tournament berth since 1997.
Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
