NIKE Baseball Camps Adds Alderson-Broaddus College To 2012 Camp Lineup

San Rafael, CA - NIKE Baseball Camps offers locations nationwide for players ages 6-18 of all abilities and is pleased to announce its latest camp addition at Alderson-Broaddus College, July 9-12,  to the 2012 NIKE Baseball Camp schedule.

 

“Each summer we look to improve our offerings of NIKE Baseball Camp across the country.  This summer is no exception with the addition of Alderson-Broaddus College” says Mike de Surville, Vice President of US Sports Camps.  “Our camp Directors are our partners and as such have a major stake in providing camps of the highest quality; camps that are fun and improve the skills of each camper.”

Head coach of Alderson-Broaddus, Luke Harrigan will direct this Nike Baseball Camp and has plans to make this new location, a favorite. Harrigan enters his first season leading the Battlers. He joins the A-B staff after a brief stint at Westminster (MO) College where he held the same position. Prior to his first head coaching position at Westminster, Harrigan was the assistant coach at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.  While at BGSU he was in charge of the outfielders and helped with recruiting and the day to day operations of the program. Coach Harrigan got his coaching start as an assistant at Franklin College and later at his alma mater Adrian College.

Nike Baseball Camps provide focused, intensive training that is essential to improvement for all skill levels. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each camp director does their best to advance players to the next level, keeping in consideration each camper’s experience and desire to improve.
