Nike Baseball Camps Adds the Auburn Sports Complex to Summer Schedule
The Auburn Sports Complex is a 50,000sf facility with 70' ceilings and field turf located in Auburn, MA. Rain or shine this facility is state of the art and offers a tremendous setting for the NIKE Baseball Camps.
Directing the camp is Jim Vail who enters his second season as part of Head Coach Joe Teixeira’s assistant coaching staff. He previously served as Assumption College’s head baseball coach from 1999-2006. Vail is a 1984 graduate of Assumption. Upon earning his degree, he became an assistant coach at St. Peter-Marian High School in Worcester, MA from 1984-86. St. Peter-Marian won the Massachusetts State Championship in 1986. From there, Vail moved on to the college ranks, where he was an assistant coach for ten years at Quinsigamond Community College. Also on staff is Head Coach at Nichols College.
