Nike Baseball Camps offers camp at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland
Nike Baseball Camps, a part of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, is excited to announce the addition of a new Maryland baseball camp. Directing the Nike Baseball Camp at McDaniel College will be Head Coach Grant Neary accompanied by his coaching staff. Camp will be held at McDaniel College, in Westminster.
2019 is Coach Grant Neary’s first year at the helm for the McDaniel College Green Terror. He has spent the past six seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I school, New Jersey Institute of Technology.
This four-day youth baseball camp will be held Monday, July 15th through Thursday, July 18th, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Campers of all levels will have the opportunity to improve their hitting, fielding, throwing skills and in-game situations. Camper get to train daily on Preston Field, home of the NCAA Division III Green Terror’s. Every facet of the game is covered with an emphasis on fundamentals to help players become valuable team members. At each location, campers are broken into groups with other players of similar age, abilities and goals.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Coach Neary and the McDaniel baseball program,” states Josh Scriven, National Sports Manager of Nike Baseball Camps. “This will be a great opportunity for kids to have access to an experienced coaching staff, great facilities and empowering learning environment. Each athlete will have the chance to leave camp a better player, having enjoyed a fun week of baseball.”
