NBC BASKETBALL CAMP LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE ANNOUNCING 2012 SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMP SEASON
NBC Camps was founded in 1971 and has grown to become the largest overnight basketball and volleyball camp program in the world with over 120 weeks of camp located in 50 cities and five countries.
NBC Camps will be conducting day and overnight basketball camps for beginner to advanced athletes ages 7-20. Camps offered include All-Star & Elite camps, College Basketball Prep camp, High School Team and Tournament camps, Pure Shooting and Offensive skills camps, Position Specific—Guard, Wing and Post Training camps, International Travel teams, Basketball and English Language camps, Complete Player Basketball camps, Family Hoops camps and Junior Basketball Day camps for younger athletes. Camps emphasize skill mastery, intensity, leadership, and total basketball and life development. NBC Basketball Camps are located in 10 states, Canada, Austria, Isle of Man, England and Italy. NBC Camps also offers volleyball training in the US and Canada as well as soccer and football summer camps.
The new website, found online at www.nbccamps.com provides users with online registration, interactive maps, surveys, photo galleries, easy navigation and search options. NBC Basketball Camps launched their first website in 1994 and was one of the first basketball camp programs on the internet. “A person in web training in Seattle contacted us and asked to build us a site. We had a bouncing basketball animated gif, clip photos and our dates. Some advisors told us not to invest in the web as it would never become popular, ” laughs NBC Camps Vice President Jennifer Ferch, “But we’ve maintained a very dynamic site all these years and literally experienced the transformation of the web. With the launch of this new site, we are excited for the sophisticated CMS and SEO options as well as the ease for our customers to navigate and register. We were able to work with one of the leading web designers from British Columbia called Vibe9Design and they were absolutely fantastic. Right now we are rolling into peak registration time. Our goal is to provide the best summer sports camp experience possible and give each athlete the tools to walk out of camp a better player and person. A strong website allows us to make the registration experience that much better.”
