Nike Field Hockey Camps announces new Baltimore location
Nike Field Hockey Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, has announced the addition of a new field hockey camp in Baltimore. The Nike Field Hockey Camp at Goucher College will mark the second camp location in the state of Maryland. The new program is set to be directed by the Goucher College Head Field Hockey Coach, Stacey Eversley. Her coaching staff and collegiate athletes will lead campers through skill development drills to elevate their game.
Eversley brings over 13 years of experience to the turf, coaching at all three levels of NCAA competition (Division I, II, and III). Before arriving at Goucher College in 2018, Eversley serving as the head coach of Division I Leigh University for six years where she coached multiple All-Patriot League athletes and even a Goalkeeper of the Year. She will be bringing her elite coaching style to this new Baltimore field hockey camp this upcoming summer.
“Coach Eversley is an excellent addition to Nike Field Hockey Camps,” states Liz Tellez, Sports Manager of Nike Field Hockey Camps. “We are confident that campers will flourish under her instruction and have a lot of fun training with their fellow competitors.”
This newest Northeast field hockey camp will provide players an opportunity to improve their basic skills with a collegiate level staff as well as compete with other field hockey players from their area. As an All Skills program, daily instruction by Eversley will include stick work, offensive and defensive skills, and position work. Goalies who attend this program can also receive goalie specific instruction from the Gophers’ coaching staff.
This camp is set to run as a day program and is open to boys and girls, ages 10-18. Eversley will also have fun recreational swimming time incorporated into the camp program to help players cool off from the intensive training.
