New California Softball Camp Location Added to the Summer Schedule
This summer the NIKE Softball Camps has added Cal State Monterey Bay (Monterey, CA) to the summer camp line-up. Located only two hours south of San Francisco in the heart of beautiful Monterey Bay, the CSUMB campus is surrounded by several popular destinations such as Big Sur, Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel-by-the-Sea, 17-Mile Drive and a number of world-class golf courses like Pebble Beach, Spanish Bay, Spyglass, and Black Horse.
Directing camp is a veteran NIKE Camp Instructor of over 15 years, Debbie Nelson. Recognized as one of the top private teaching instructors in the business, Debbie is the owner of All American Sports Academy in Tracy, CA. Coach Nelson's training and coaching experience (over 18 years) began in Sacramento. After spending one year at St Francis High School where the team finished as CIF Champions, she spent the next six years at Sacramento State University. and NCAA All American honors while earning her Bachelors degree at Sacramento State University. Debbie enjoys coaching and teaching athletes at all levels and loves to see the self-esteem, confidence and competitive skills her students athletes achieve through participation in sports!
