Nike Softball Camps announces Fairfield University 2020 Summer Camp Dates
Nike Softball Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, has released its 2020 Fairfield camp dates. The Nike Softball Camp at Fairfield University has been one of the longest running, and most popular camps offered by Nike Softball Camps.
This camp is run by an outstanding coaching staff, headed by Coach Julie Brzezinski who is in her 23rd year at the helm for Fairfield. During her tenure for the Stags, the program has earned a conference postseason birth in all but two seasons, winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship in 2015 and 2017. Additionally, the only two NCAA appearances the Stags have had in their history have been under the direction of Coach Brzezinski. She has also earned MAAC Coach of the Year honors three different times.
This four-day, July camp in Fairfield, Connecticut, is offered to ball players ages 10-18, and will cater to all skill levels. Instruction in the camp will focus primarily on hitting, position specific defense, baserunning and game situations. Pitchers will also get a chance to work with the designated pitching coaches. This camp offers both a Day Camp as well as an Overnight option, where campers can get a better idea of what the life of a college athlete is like, getting to experience the dorms, cafeteria, and athletic facilities.
This camp has quickly gained a good reputation for being a fun, competitive environment that helps foster the growth of young athletes in the North East. Parents of past campers praised the camp, as one parent said about the Fairfield Camp, “We’ll be back next year. My camper loved all of the fundamentals taught, the group lessons, pretty much everything the camp had to offer”.
