US Sports Camps Announces New Connecticut Nike Swim Camp
San Rafael, CA - Nike Swim Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, has announced a new Connecticut swim camp location for summer 2020. The Trinity College Nike Swim Camp is designed for competitive swimmers ages 8-18 looking to improve on the "little things" that will make you a better swimmer.
Campers will experience small-group instruction in a low swimmer-to-coach ratio environment including two water sessions, daily video analysis of strokes and classroom lectures. Team building and leadership development will also play a central part of our curriculum.
Our Comprehensive Stroke Camp, lead by Head Swimming Coach, Carlos Vega, offers a balanced curriculum built around training, technique, and race strategy to improve each of the four strokes.
Overnight campers reside in campus housing located a short walk from the pool and eat all meals in the campus dining hall.
“We are thrilled to work with Coach Vega at Trinity this summer,” says Paul Merrion, VP of Nike Swim Camps. “He is such a dedicated and knowledgeable coach and knows how to coach swimmers at every skill level.”
This summer, Trinity College is offering one session of day camp 9:00am-4:30pm for ages 8-18 June 22-25. This summer camp for competitive swimmers is an excellent format for campers to learn new drills, refine stroke technique, and focus on racing skills that will impact their swimming. Athletes will be challenged and engaged in a safe and supportive camp environment. Our experienced coaching staff strives to make the week a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
