Nike Tennis Camps Opens New Location at Whitworth University in 2020
December 18, 2019 – Nike Tennis Camps has recently launched a new camp location in Spokane, Washington for players of all skill levels. Whitworth University serves as the host site for two weeks of day and overnight camp. Directed by Whitworth University’s Head Men’s Tennis Coach, Cameron Williams, this program is sculpted to give junior tennis players the tools to improve their game.
“My aim is to provide a well-rounded camp experience that teaches players all the necessary skills to enjoy a lifetime of success in tennis,” states Director Cameron Williams. “We all understand the importance of teaching the game to our youth, and my love for the game drives me to motivate and improve these young players.”
Cameron is entering his first full season as Head Men’s Tennis Coach at Whitworth University, but is no newcomer to the area. Cameron studied four years at Whitworth University, and was named All First Team All-Northwest Conference twice. After graduating in 2013, Cameron became the Head Assistant Coach until last year where he was named Head Coach of the Men’s program.
Whitworth University is a beautiful atmosphere that offers campers the opportunity to train at the Scotford Tennis Center on campus that includes three indoor and three outdoor courts. Overnight campers get to experience even more amenities at Whitworth by utilizing the dorms on campus.
The Nike Tennis Camp at Whitworth University offers two weeks of day and overnight camp, for girls and boys of all skill levels, July 26-30 & August 2-6.
