Nike Tennis Camps Offering Winter Day Camp At The University Of The Pacific
The University of the Pacific to host the upcoming Nike Winter Tennis Camp, led by renown coaches, Ryan Redondo, Mike Erwin and Charlotte Scatliff.
(PRWEB) November 15, 2012 – Nike Tennis Camps, a division of U.S. Sports Camps – the nation’s largest sports camp operator – will offer two "mini day camps" for players over the holiday break.
"We are excited to announce not only the addition of the University of the Pacific to our network of camps," explains Matt Kurlander, Vice President of Nike Tennis Camps, "but our first winter break Nike Tennis Camp. What a perfect place to kick it off."
The 2012 Nike Winter Tennis Camp is offered December 26 – 28 and Jan 2-4 runs Wed-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and is open to boys and girls of all ability levels, ages 6 - 18. This program is designed to give every camper the opportunity to hit a ton of balls, improve their technique and match play skills, and learn in a fun environment with other players in their peer group. There are a variety of options for campers of all ages and abilities, including the new 10&Under Tennis format for campers ages 6-10.
Co-Directing the camps are Ryan Redondo and Mike Erwin. Ryan is in his 3rd year as Director Of Tennis and Men's Head Coach at the University of the Pacific. Mike Erwin is from Dayton, Ohio, brings over 20 years of coaching experience to Northern California and currently is active with USTA NorCal serving on the Coaches Commission, Junior Task Force, and working as a coach in RTC Camps.
