Popular Oklahoma volleyball camp adds more sessions for summer 2020

Nike Volleyball Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, has announced the addition of a second camp session to the Nike Volleyball Camp at Bishop McGuinness High School in Oklahoma. This announcement comes after a successful 2019 summer, where over 80 campers trained and worked their volleyball skills with a high caliber coaching staff that included Kelli Miller, the Varsity Coach at Bishop McGuinness High School.
When asked about her daughter’s experience this past summer, Cori exclaimed “My daughter felt welcome and wasn’t embarrassed that she wasn’t that good at player volleyball since she had never played before. Everyone was encouraging and motivating to her.”
Another parent exclaimed, “ My daughter went into the camp very nervous and afraid as she is relatively new to volleyball. She had an amazing time, made new friends, and loved every minute of it!”
With positive experiences like these, it was determined by Coach Miller that more sessions were needed to give players the chance to grow in volleyball. The new addition to the volleyball camp in Oklahoma will be offered as an All Skills program, where girls of all ability levels, can come and enjoy a positive learning environment. Joining Miller this summer will be members of the Oklahoma Charge Volleyball Coaching Staff.
While at camp, players will experience mental toughness training and spirited competition through tournament play. The two volleyball camps are expected to run July 6-9 and July 13-16, 9:00-3:00pm every day.
