UNC Nike Volleyball Director Joe Sagula Enters 32nd Coaching Season

Head Coach Joe Sagula enters his 32nd season of coaching in 2012 as one of the most prolific winners in college volleyball today. In 2011 the Tar Heels competed in their 13th NCAA Tournament and on August 28, 2010 Sagula earned his 600th career win as a Division I coach. In 2008 the Tar Heels claimed the program's 11th Atlantic Coast Conference title (most of any ACC school) with a three-game sweep of NC State on the final day of the season. Sagula has been at the helm for five of UNC's ACC crowns and nine of its 13 NCAA appearances.
