Nike Adult Pickleball Camp at Barnes Tennis Center Hosted by Andy Rubenstein

We offer fun sessions for players ages 18+ of all skill levels. Camp includes on-court pickleball instruction, chalk talks and offers programs for advanced beginner, intermediate, and advanced level players. Campers will have the option to enroll for Friday, Saturday, or both days of camp.

Camp will cover Grips, stroke development, dink shot, serves & returns, specialty shots, rules and etiquette, and much more!

CAMP PROGRAM

Advanced Beginner and Intermediate skill levels

Camp is geared towards adult players of all levels. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the weekend.

• Small groups of players with similar skill levels
• 3rd shot drop: drop vs. drive
• No Man's Land: 5th shot, defense, and transitioning to offense
• Volleys: block vs attack
• Footwork
• Doubles strategy

CAMP SCHEDULE

• 5:30pm-9:00pm

- Saturday (July 22)

• 8:30pm-12:00pm
• 4:30pm-8:00pm

- Sunday (July 23)

• 8:30pm-12:00pm

Campers have the ability to sign up for just 1 session, 2 sessions, or 3 session. If you are attending just 1 or 2 sessions of camp, you are free to choose which days you attend. We ask that when you enroll, please leave a note in the "Comments" box as to which dates you plan to attend.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

• Welcome Package: All campers receive a Nike Pickleball Camps t-shirt
• Instruction: 3.5 hours of court time including instruction and match play, 1 hour of chalk talks, each day
• Meals: No meals are included. Campers are encouraged to bring snacks and water.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

• Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
• Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes and a water bottle
• Facility: Barnes Tennis Center's brand new outdoor pickleball courts
• Medical Protocol: In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS

Book early for the best room rates! These are Day Camps and only and run during the hours listed above. The camp tuition DOES NOT include housing. Campers are required to provide their own overnight accommodations.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

• Athletic, on-court pickleball clothing

• Pickleball Paddle(s)

• Comfortable court shoes (no running shoes)

• Sweatshirt/warm-up jacket and pants

• Water bottle

• Sunscreen

• Snacks (optional)

• Signed Health & Release forms and waivers (forms completed online do not need to be printed and turned in at camp)
