Director Bryan Chung
Bryan began playing pickleball 10 years ago in 2015 in his hometown of Glenview, IL, and has been teaching for 8 years. His journey from a player to a top competitive competitor, coach, tournament director, camp director, video creator, and pickleball sportswear designer was a natural progression following his training to become a pro player in Illinois, California, and Hawaii.

Co-Director Eigo Okada
Eigo has a lifetime of racquet/paddle experience - having played and coached several racket sports in addition to pickleball; tennis, table tennis, and squash. A true technician on the court, Eigo has won 5.0 pickleball doubles championships and now plays in senior pro tournaments. Eigo’s ability to move masterfully on the court with textbook technique, is something you will admire and hopefully emulate.

Co-Director Alicia Olson
Alicia Olson is a highly accomplished former Women’s NCAA basketball player for Norte Dame. She is still very active - coaching her kids volleyball and basketball teams and continually improving upon her 5.0 pickleball skills. Her attitude and approach to progressing as an athlete is very straightforward and demanding.- with DRILLING as a focal point. She will undoubtedly leave a valuable memory of her drop shot workshop with surgical-like precision and efficient movement.

SKILL LEVELS & GROUP PLACEMENT
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Participants are then sorted by ability first, then age per the Camp Director's discretion - adjustments are made as needed during camp.
While there are many ways to define skill levels, the following descriptions are what the Camp Directors at Nike Pickleball Camps will use to organize and group camp participants. At the time of registration, please choose the level that best represents your experience:
Beginner: Players at this level are new to pickleball and have little to no experience. They can hit basic shots and possess a fundamental understanding of the rules, scoring, and court positioning. Focus is on building confidence and familiarity with the game. (No rating or DUPR rating 1.0 - 2.5)
Intermediate: Players at this level understand the rules and strategy of pickleball and can sustain rallies using a mix of shots. They can hit with some spin and accuracy, resulting in fewer unforced errors. Focus is on refining technique, improving court awareness, and developing strategic play. (DUPR rating 3.0-3.5)
