Director David Martin
My name is David Martin and I am a homegrown Oregonian with familial roots in New York and Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. I am the General Manager of RECS, overseeing all instructional programming, all court optimization efforts, staff scheduling and general operations of the club. I have a life long love of sports and have been playing pickleball for around 9 years.

Co-Director Lori D'Antonio
Lori is originally from Pennsylvania but lived outside of NYC for the last 28 years and moved to Oregon not too long ago. She grew up playing tennis and continues to enjoy it by competing in the USTA leagues. Lori found pickleball in 2016 and has been developing programming and teaching the sport for the last 6 years. Lori taught hundreds of juniors/adults through town adult education programs and in racquet & health clubs. She even taught her 88 year old mother who now plays almost daily! Lori encourages her students to focus on the framework of the game in order to be able to go play at any level, while socializing and falling in love with the sport. Her motto is to remain calm, take a breath, keep the perspective.
-
Co-Director Riley Hanks
Riley is from Central Oregon. She has been playing sports her whole life with a primary focus on Tennis, which she played throughout high school and at the collegiate level. After college in 2022, she found pickleball and was immediately hooked. Riley has competed in many APP and PPA tournaments, most of her medals are from singles. Riley enjoys teaching players of all skill levels, ages, and backgrounds. She believes that people are more likely to perform best when they’re having fun. Focusing on building muscle memory and implementing key shots because it is more likely that players remember how they felt as opposed to what they were taught.

While there are many ways to define skill levels, the following descriptions are what the Camp Directors at Nike Pickleball Camps will use to organize and group camp participants. At the time of registration, please choose the level that best represents your experience:
Beginner: Players at this level are new to pickleball and have little to no experience. They can hit basic shots and possess a fundamental understanding of the rules, scoring, and court positioning. Focus is on building confidence and familiarity with the game.
Intermediate: Players at this level understand the rules and strategy of pickleball and can sustain rallies using a mix of shots. They can hit with some spin and accuracy, resulting in fewer unforced errors. Focus is on refining technique, improving court awareness, and developing strategic play.
