CAMP PROGRAM INFORMATION

• Camp Type(s) Offered: Day Camp (Monday-Friday 1:30pm-5:00pm)
• Gender: Coed
• Age Range: 10-16
• Skill Level: Beginner & Intermediate

SKILL LEVELS & GROUP PLACEMENT

After a silly ice-breaker or two, our instructors and staff will sort the players based on age and skill level. For beginners, we’ll focus first on teaching the basics to make sure that all players build their confidence around the rules and how to play a game. For intermediate players, we’ll jump ahead a bit to teaching skills, techniques, and strategy.

Regardless of what level anyone enters the camps, we use a rotation system at different stations to teach the campers and make sure that there is plenty of energy and engagement. Our instructors and staff are experts at creating a positive and uplifting experience based on Goodwill, Good Sportsmanship, Well-Being, and Good Times!

While there are many ways to define skill levels, the following descriptions are what the Camp Directors at Nike Pickleball Camps will use to organize and group camp participants. At the time of registration, please choose the level that best represents your experience:

• Beginner: Players at this level are new to pickleball and have little to no experience. They can hit basic shots and possess a fundamental understanding of the rules, scoring, and court positioning. Focus is on building confidence and familiarity with the game.

• Intermediate: Players at this level understand the rules and strategy of pickleball and can sustain rallies using a mix of shots. They can hit with some spin and accuracy, resulting in fewer unforced errors. Focus is on refining technique, improving court awareness, and developing strategic play.

CAMP CHECK-IN/OUT

• Check-in: All campers check-in between 1:15pm and 1:30pm daily
• Check-out: All campers check-out at 5:00pm daily

CAMP SCHEDULE

• Daily Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:15pm-5:00pm

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

• Welcome Package: All campers receive a Pickleball Camps t-shirt and prizes
• Instruction: 3.5 hours of court time including instruction and match play daily

EQUIPMENT, FACILITY & MORE

• Equipment Needed: Campers may bring a pickleball paddle, or rent one for the week for $20. All campers must wear athletic shoes and bring water bottle.
• Meals: Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.
• Facility: RECS Facility - 4 Indoor, Air Conditioned, Cushioned Pickleball Courts

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours before camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for the tuition fees paid, valid for one year for any sport and transferable to any immediate family member. Please note that participants who do not attend their registered session (no-shows) or fail to notify USSC at least 24 hours prior to check-in will not receive a voucher or refund.

Refunds are available only if the Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your payment due date (1st of the month prior to your camp start date). These policies are in place to account for camp fees associated with each registration that is made in advance of the program. Camper waives any and all damages that may otherwise arise out of any camp cancellation and agrees to accept as liquidated damages said registration fees.

ACCOMMODATIONS & TRAVEL

This is a Day Camp only; housing is not included in the camp tuition. Campers are responsible for arranging their own overnight accommodations if needed.

US Sports Camps, the Camp Director, camp staff, and the host facility are not liable for any travel-related arrangements, including but not limited to flights, hotels, Airbnbs, or rental cars.

We recommend booking refundable or flexible travel and accommodation options in case of any changes to the camp schedule.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

• Athletic, on-court pickleball clothing

• Pickleball Paddle(s)

• Comfortable court shoes (no running shoes)

• Sweatshirt/warm-up jacket and pants

• Water bottle

• Snacks (optional)

• Signed Health & Release forms and waivers (forms completed online do not need to be printed and turned in at camp)
