IMPROVE YOUR GAME AND HAVE SERIOUS FUN

The Robert Morris University Girls Soccer Camp offers a high-quality day camp soccer experience for girls ages 6–14 at Robert Morris Soccer Stadium in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Conveniently located just outside Pittsburgh, this camp serves families throughout Allegheny County and the greater Western PA region.

Led by Head Women's Soccer Coach Michelle Rick, the camp provides expert instruction rooted in collegiate training principles while remaining fun, supportive, and age-appropriate. Open to players of all skill levels, campers will work on developing their technical abilities, game understanding, and confidence through structured training sessions and small-sided play.

Camp sessions focus on foundational skills such as ball control, passing, dribbling, and finishing, paired with competitive games that encourage creativity, teamwork, and decision-making. Training takes place at Robert Morris Soccer Stadium, giving campers the opportunity to learn and compete in an authentic collegiate soccer environment.

    Michelle Rick was named head coach of the RMU women's soccer program on February 8, 2024.

    Head Women's Soccer Coach - Robert Morris University

    In her first season with the Colonials, Rick led the team back to the Horizon League semifinals. Under her leadership, the program earned their most All-League selections as Haleigh Finale, Paloma Swankler and Ava Trethewey were named All-League Second Team. In addition, Madison Hurst was tabbed to the All-Freshman Team.

    Academically, six of her student-athletes earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams and two players were named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team with goalkeeper Brenna Murray also earning the conference's Sportsmanship Award.

    Rick joined RMU after spending the previous two seasons at the University of Findlay, a Division II school in Findlay, Ohio, where she had a 22-11-7 overall record and back-to-back berths in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals. She coached five all-conference players a total of eight times, including the 2023 G-MAC Goalkeeper of the Year Kennedy Slovak and 2022 Elite 26 Award Winner Nikki Schuster. Additionally, two of Rick’s players earned a spot on the D2 Conference Commissioners Association Soccer All-Midwest Region teams in Hannah Rybicki (2023) and Ellie Tischler (2022).

    Academically, 10 of Rick’s student-athletes earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® teams a total of 12 times.

    Prior to Findlay, Rick got her start in college soccer as an assistant coach at Marietta College where she was heavily involved in all aspects of the program - including match and training planning, recruiting and fund raising. She was instrumental in recruiting and developing six All-Ohio Athletic Conference selections in her three seasons with the Pioneers.

    Before moving to the college ranks, Rick served as the head coach of the Ohio Galaxies Futbol Club in Dayton, Ohio and was the assistant varsity coach and the head junior varsity coach at Beavercreek High School. She was on the coaching staff when Beavercreek won the 2018 Division I women’s Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) State Championship.

    A native of Beavercreek, Ohio, Rick played collegiately at Wright State where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences in 2015. She earned her master’s in education with a concentration in adolescent and young adult education in life sciences from the University of Dayton in 2019.

This Soccer Camps provide a fun and challenging environment where players are grouped by age and ability to maximize development. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, campers sharpen their technical skills through focused training, small-sided games, and dynamic drills—building confidence and a passion for the game along the way.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Training from the Robert Morris University women's soccer coaching staff

  • Day campers: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.

  • Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

  • Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience

  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.

  • Facility: Robert Morris Soccer Stadium

  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
