Under the expert leadership of Back Mountain Surf coaching staff, including college coaches from King’s, Misericordia, Wilkes, and Scranton, players will receive top-tier training in a dynamic, fun and engaging environment.

This camp offers two specialized programs: an all-skills camp for ages 7-12 and an elite camp for ages 13-18, both open to boys and girls. Training sessions will focus on technical development, tactical awareness, and overall game intelligence, helping players of all levels enhance their abilities. Set within the excellent facilities of King’s College, the program provides a balance of high-intensity training and enjoyable activities, fostering both player growth and a love for the game.

    Mark Stauffer

    Head Coach - Misericordia University Women

    Mark Stauffer is one of the most accomplished coaches in NCAA Division III women's soccer, with a legacy spanning over two decades of excellence at Misericordia University. Now in his 24th season as head coach, Stauffer has built the Cougars into a national powerhouse, leading them to 18 NCAA Tournament appearances, a Final Four run in 2012, and four Elite Eight finishes. A five-time NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Coach of the Year and the 2012 NCAA National Coach of the Year, his leadership has consistently produced championship-caliber teams while fostering a culture of success on and off the field.

    Mark Stauffer

    Head Coach - Misericordia University Women

    With over 350 career wins, Stauffer ranks among the most successful active Division III coaches. His teams have earned multiple top national rankings, including back-to-back No. 1 rankings, and have dominated the MAC Freedom Conference with multiple championships. Under his guidance, 31 players have achieved NCAA All-American status, 61 have earned All-Region honors, and countless others have received all-conference and academic accolades.

    In addition to his collegiate success, Stauffer serves as the Director of Coaching and U16-U19 Girls Lead Trainer at Back Mountain Rush, where he plays a pivotal role in developing elite youth talent. A highly respected educator of the game, he holds USC premier coaching diploma and serves as a regional staff coach, further cementing his influence in player and coach development at all levels.

    Andy Loughnane

    Head Coach - University of Scranton Men

    Andy Loughnane brings nearly two decades of coaching experience at the NCAA Division II and III levels, making an immediate impact in every program he has been part of. Named the head coach of the University of Scranton men’s soccer team in 2024, Loughnane returns to familiar territory, having previously served as an assistant coach for the Royals from 2011-2015. During that tenure, he helped guide the team to an NCAA Elite Eight appearance and a Landmark Conference title.

    Andy Loughnane

    Head Coach - University of Scranton Men

    Before taking the helm at Scranton, Loughnane spent seven seasons as the head coach at Misericordia University, where he led the Cougars to six MAC Freedom playoff appearances, two runner-up finishes, and three double-digit win seasons. His leadership developed 25 All-Conference players and seven USC All-Region selections, earning him MAC Freedom Coach of the Year honors in 2016. Beyond the collegiate level, he has also made his mark in the NPSL, serving as the Sporting Director and former Head Coach of the Electric City Shock, leading them to three postseason appearances.

    In addition to his collegiate and semi-professional coaching experience, Loughnane plays a vital role in player development as the Training and Curriculum Director and U16-U19 Boys Lead Trainer. He holds an array of coaching certifications, including a USC National License, multiple USC Special Topics Diplomas, Goalkeeping Level 1 & 2 Diplomas, and a TOVO Methodology and Position Play Diploma. With a strong foundation in both player development and tactical innovation, Loughnane continues to shape the future of the game while pursuing his U.S. Soccer C License.

    Alistair Moore

    Head Coach - Misericordia University Men

    Alistair Moore brings a strong coaching background at both the collegiate and club levels, currently serving as the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Misericordia University. Before taking the helm at Misericordia, Moore gained valuable experience as an assistant coach at Campbell University and Roanoke College, where he contributed to player development, tactical strategies, and recruitment efforts.

    Head Coach - Misericordia University Men

    In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Moore has worked extensively in elite youth soccer, coaching at the ECNL and ECRL levels, where he has helped develop top-tier talent and prepare players for the next level of competition.

    Moore holds multiple USC/NSCAA coaching licenses, demonstrating his commitment to continued education and coaching excellence. As the U12-U15 Boys Lead Trainer at Back Mountain Rush, Moore plays a crucial role in shaping the technical, tactical, and overall development of young athletes in the program.

    Lily Cross

    Assistant Coach - Wilkes University Women

    Lilly Cross brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the Wilkes University women's soccer program, joining as an assistant coach for the 2024 season. A former standout at Messiah University, Cross played a key role in the program’s success, winning three MAC Commonwealth championships and making multiple deep runs in the NCAA Tournament, including a National Runner-Up finish in 2016. Her leadership and dedication on the field earned her MAC Academic Honor Roll honors and set the stage for her coaching career.

    Lily Cross

    Assistant Coach - Wilkes University Women

    Cross transitioned into coaching with Keystone College, where she served as head coach for two seasons (2022-2023) after an earlier stint as an assistant. At Keystone, she was instrumental in recruiting, developing training sessions, and managing all aspects of team operations. Under her guidance, the Giants produced multiple all-conference selections, including the 2022 conference Rookie of the Year, and earned United Soccer Coaches All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic Team honors.

    Currently, Cross leads the Back Mountain Torrent in United Women's Soccer (UWS) League 1 as head coach, a role she has held since April 2023. In her first season, she guided the team to the UWS League 2 Championship, coaching the league’s Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year while producing multiple All-League selections. In addition to her collegiate and semi-professional coaching roles, Cross is also a U8-U11 Girls Lead Trainer at Back Mountain Rush and works as a personal trainer at AthElite Performance Training.

    As both a coach and former high-level player—including five seasons in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) with Hershey F.C., where she was named a WPSL All-Star—Cross brings a dynamic and experienced approach to player development. Holding a degree in Athletic Training from Messiah University, she continues to shape the next generation of athletes with her expertise in both performance training and tactical development.

    Tayler Jamison

    Assistant Coach - Misericordia University Women

    Tayler Jamison is an accomplished coach and former standout collegiate player who brings a wealth of experience to player development. She is currently in her fifth season as an assistant coach for Misericordia University women's soccer, where she has helped lead the Cougars to three MAC Freedom Championships and multiple deep NCAA Tournament runs, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2021 and 2024. During her tenure, she has coached 7 All-Americans and 15 All-Region selections, helping to establish Misericordia as a powerhouse program.

    Tayler Jamison

    Assistant Coach - Misericordia University Women

    Jamison briefly stepped away from Misericordia in 2022 to serve as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Washington University in St. Louis, where she played a key role in the team’s NCAA Elite 8 appearance. Under her guidance, WashU produced one All-American, two All-Region selections, and four All-Conference selections during her time with the program.

    In addition to her collegiate coaching success, Jamison is an integral part of the Back Mountain soccer community, currently serving as the Back Mountain Torrent Director and U12-U15 Girls Lead Trainer for Back Mountain Rush. She was also the head coach of the Back Mountain Torrent in UWS League 1 in 2023, where she led the team to a Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship and earned Coach of the Year honors.

    As a player, Jamison had a decorated career at West Chester University, where she was a three-year letter-winner after transferring from Division I Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She helped lead West Chester to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including two Sweet 16 berths and an Elite 8 appearance, while serving as a team captain in her senior year.

    Holding both a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and an MBA, Jamison combines her expertise in athletic performance, leadership, and player development to elevate every program she works with.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Training from Back Mountain Surf and collegiate coaching staff.
  • Supervision: Staff members reside in rooms strategically placed throughout the dorm to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
  • Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience

  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.

  • Facility: McCarthy Stadium

  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

SOCCER BALLS

Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out once the order has processed.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
