    2020: Rejoined Sporting II to continue his playing career while also working with the Sporting KC Academy. Made 12 appearances, including 10 starts and scoring once during the 2020 USL Championship season. Captained the club in each of his starts. Made his return to the field for Sporting II in a 2-1 loss at Indy Eleven after the restart (July 18). Scored his lone goal of the season in a 3-1 loss at Saint Louis FC (Aug. 15).

    2019: Duke missed the first 19 games of the season through injury, where Orange County labored to a 5-7-7 start to the year. Upon his return for the final 15 games, Duke started each match and helped the team finish the campaign on a 10-3-2 run that clinched a spot in the postseason for his side. He tallied one assist, coming in a 4-1 win over Reno 1868 FC (July 23). Duke appeared in Orange County’s opening USL Cup Playoffs match, falling 6-2 to eventual champions Real Monarchs.

    2018: Joined Orange County SC ahead of the new season and went on to make 29 appearances in the regular season, tallying one goal and three assists. Scored his first goal for the club with the game winner in a 5-2 win over Real Monarchs (September 19), while he also notched an assist against the Monarchs (May 4) and a pair of assists against the Tulsa Roughnecks (June 23). Led his side to the Western Conference Final but fell to Phoenix Rising FC (November 3). Duke started one match in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, falling to FC Golden State Force in the Second Round.

    2017: Played every minute in the regular season for the Rangers, starting all 34 games and amassing 3,060 minutes. He added two goals and eight assists, scoring against Phoenix Rising FC (April 23) and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (June 21). Duke notched two assists in a 2-2 draw with Sacramento Republic (August 23). Started all four games in the postseason, leading the side to the USL Cup Final for the second consecutive year. Duke exited the final against Louisville City FC (November 13) through injury in the 71st minute as the Rangers fell 1-0 to a late goal.

    2016: Made 30 appearances in the regular season, starting 29, and added two goals and an assist. He was one of two players player to appear in every regular-season game in 2016 and led the team in minutes with 2,540. Scored his first USL goal since Aug. 4, 2013 while with Orlando City SC against LA Galaxy II on Aug. 27 and added another goal with the game-winner against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Sept. 10. Recorded his lone assist against former side OKC Energy FC on Sept. 18. Duke was named to the bench of the USL Team of the Week for Week five and 23. He started all four games for the Rangers in the USL Cup Playoffs, meaning he was the only SPR player to appear in all 34 games in 2016.

    2015: Made 19 appearances, including 17 starts in the USL for OKC Energy FC. He ranked second on the team with four assists, including one on his debut against Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 on June 9. His other assists came against Louisville City FC on June 27, Portland Timbers 2 on Aug. 8 and the Austin Aztex on Aug. 29. Duke started both games for the Energy in the USL Cup Playoffs, eventually falling to LA Galaxy II in the Western Conference Final.

    2014: Began the season with Sporting Kansas City, but was loaned to OKC Energy FC on March 17. Duke made nine appearances with the Energy, recording three assists, before suffering a stress fracture and returning to Kansas City for rehab in June. He was again loaned to OKC on Aug. 21 for their final four games of the season, appearing in each game as the Energy narrowly missed out on a Playoff berth. Duke also made one appearance in the U.S. Open Cup, coming against Arizona United SC.

    2013: Drafted in the first round (14th overall) of the 2013 Supplemental Draft by Sporting Kansas City and spent preseason with the club. He was one of four players loaned to USL affiliate Orlando City SC on March 14. Duke made 19 regular-season appearances for Orlando, scoring one goal against VSI Tampa Bay FC on Aug. 5 and recording one assist the Charleston Battery on July 12. In the USL Cup Playoffs, Duke appeared in all three games, including starting in Orlando’s 7-4 USL Cup Final win over the Charlotte Eagles. He also made one appearance in the U.S. Open Cup, coming against the Chicago Fire on June 27. Duke was named Orlando City SC Rookie of the Year at the conclusion of the 2013 season.

    College: Duke enjoyed a four-year career at the University of San Diego, appearing in 60 games for the Toreros, earning six assists. Duke played in all 23 games as a senior in 2012, earning All-West Coast Conference Second Team honors and leading the team to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.

    Following her collegiate career, Leigh Ann enjoyed nearly a decade as a professional player in the NWSL where she won back to back national championships for FC Kansas City. She also earned two caps with the USWNT during her professional stint. Transitioning to coaching, she spent multiple years at the club level during her eight years as a Division I collegiate coach. Leigh Ann has relocated back to the Kansas City area and is excited to start working with the young athletes at Refine Soccer

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
