The Nike Soccer Camp at La Salle University offers young athletes a premier soccer training experience in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, combining elite coaching with a fun, development-focused environment. This day camp for boys and girls ages 6–13 is open to all skill levels, from first-time players to experienced club athletes looking to sharpen their game.
Led by Taylor Thames, Head Coach of La Salle University Men’s Soccer, the camp delivers high level instruction rooted in the demands of the modern game. Campers train on a Division I campus while learning core skills such as ball control, passing, dribbling, shooting, and small-sided decision-making. Sessions are thoughtfully designed to challenge players while building confidence and creativity on the ball.
Located in Philadelphia, this Nike Soccer Camp serves families throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, offering a high-quality summer soccer option that blends collegiate-level expertise with the trusted Nike camp structure. The result is an engaging, safe, and motivating environment where players can grow their skills, compete, and develop a lifelong love for the game.

Taylor Thames was hired as the Head Men's Soccer Coach in August 2021. Thames joined the La Salle staff with over a decade of Division I coaching experience, most recently at Army West Point.

Under the guidance of experienced coaches, campers sharpen their technical skills through focused training, small-sided games, and dynamic drills—building confidence and a passion for the game along the way.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Instruction: Training from the La Salle University coaching staff
Day campers: Lunch is provided. There will be a water station available to fill up and stay hydrated
Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
Facility: McCarthy Stadium
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Athletic clothing
- Soccer Cleats (no metal studs)
- Shin guards
- Water bottle
- Sunblock
- Small gym bag/backpack
- Packed lunch & snacks
SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out once the order has processed. Shipping is included in the listed price. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction. All sales are final.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
