ABOUT NEXT STEP TRAINING
Next Step is a club-neutral player-first development program designed by former and current professionals. We offer a unique year-round competitive experience for the BEST local kids in and around the New England area.
Next Step prioritizes an integrative approach so that top youth players can increase their technical, tactical, physical and psychological acumen within the game. We provide high level coaching from people who have excelled as players earlier in their career and now have devoted their attention to coaching the game they love.
WHO IS THIS CAMP FOR?
Next Step Soccer Camps are designed for players who want more than just games, they want to truly improve. This camp focuses on developing intelligent, confident players through game‑based training led by experienced coaches with professional and collegiate backgrounds. Every session is built around real match situations, helping players learn how to think, make decisions, and perform under pressure in a fun, competitive environment.
This camp is a great fit for boys and girls of all experience levels, from motivated beginners to advanced players, who are eager to be challenged, enjoy competing, and want to grow their love for the game. Players who thrive here are coachable, curious, and excited to learn, while parents can feel confident knowing their child is in a structured, positive environment that prioritizes both development and enjoyment.
- Pro‑Level Coaching Staff – Led by former MLS Cup and Liga MX Champion Luis Silva, alongside coaches with collegiate, academy, and professional experience, bringing real‑world insight into every session.
- Game‑Based Development Model – We don’t just run drills; players are constantly placed in realistic game scenarios to improve decision‑making, awareness, and confidence under pressure.
- “Next Step Cup Week” Competition Format – Players are placed on teams for the week and compete daily in small‑sided games, skill challenges, and tournaments, creating a fun, high‑energy environment with purpose.
- Individual Focus Within a Team Setting – Players receive detailed coaching points and feedback while learning how to function within the game, rather than isolated training that doesn’t translate.
- Fun, Competitive Game Environment – We prioritize enjoyment through competition, creativity, and play, helping players build a genuine love for the game while developing naturally.
- High Standards, Positive Environment – We combine accountability, structure, and energy to create a camp experience that is both challenging and enjoyable, where players grow in confidence, character, and love for the game.
