ABOUT 90+ TRAINING
We focus on establishing strong technical foundations through consistent high-quality repetitions. We create learning environments where players go into detail about the how AND why of what they are doing. Players are constantly being pushed out of their comfort zone, physically, technically and mentally by our expert trainers who know what, how and when to say what the kids need to hear for our lessons and training to stick
SKILL FOCUS
Each day will cover a different technical topic such as; shooting, 1v1 skills, 1st touch, dribbling, passing + receiving etc, camp is then split into:
Morning: Technical development and instruction
- Players learn from 90+ coaches on how to become more effective technically with the day's topic. Think detailed instruction and focused learning on how to improve passing, shooting, dribbling and more
Afternoon: Skills practice & games
- Players will get to practice and use what they’ve learned in the morning session when they are challenged with a series of fun games and skills activities. Think soccer tennis, crossbar challenge, 3v3 mini-tournaments etc
Players will be challenged outside of soccer as they work in teams, take up leadership/organization roles, think independently, compete with and against each other, make friends and build connections with our excellent coaching staff throughout the entire week
Day 1: Technical foundations: improving technical proficiency through high rep & high intensity exercises that focus in on how to perform the basics effortlessly
Day 2: Competitive mindset development: Exercises focused on using day 1's technical skills but in an environment that add a layer of competition or pressure, think 1v1's 2v1's & skills based relay races
Day 3 & 4: Game play & Soccer IQ: Combining the technical skills & competitive mindset developed from day 1&2 and learning to use both in a game situations
