P4SA’s methodology focuses on the 4 P’s and was inspired by La Masia’s strategic approach to training. These key focuses are endorsed by Pep Guardiola and Xavi Hernandez as key areas young players should develop as they advance to higher levels of play
- Possession means having control of the ball to move forward and defend, taking the lead away from the other team.
- Pressure is about quickly getting the ball back.
- Position refers to being well-placed with sufficient space and time to optimally perform actions.
- Perception means being able to see teammates, opponents, our team, and the other side, and knowing when to act and when not to.
SKILL LEVEL
Elite Curriculum
Our Elite curriculum is built for advanced and travel-level players who want a challenging and competitive training environment. Guided by P4SA’s internationally inspired methodology and the 4 P’s model, players will refine high-level technical skills, sharpen tactical decision-making, and build the physical and psychological tools needed for success in club and high school seasons. Training sessions are fast-paced and purposeful, providing players with new perspectives and elevated standards that push them to reach their full potential.
Youth Development Curriculum
Our Youth Development curriculum is designed for players who are newer to the game or still developing foundational skills. Coaches create a positive, engaging environment that encourages participation, creativity, and confidence on the ball. Using fun activities and age-appropriate progressions inspired by P4SA’s training principles, campers will grow in all areas of the game, including technique, movement, teamwork, and understanding—while enjoying every moment on the field.
To ensure the best possible development experience for each individual, coaches reserve the right to move a player to the appropriate group at any time during camp.
