Ranney School Boy's Assistant Coach Joe Murphy
I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland where I started playing soccer in the street at a very early age. Through my teen years, I played soccer in the street everyday “except when it was lashing rain,” for local teams (prehistoric version of “Travel Teams”), and my primary and high schools. After high school I played on a local semi pro team. I emigrated to the U.S. where I played soccer for Seton Hall — four year starter, captain junior and senior years. I was named Big East Academic/Athletic soccer player of the year back before they were keeping records of such things.

How Donny Gray Soccer Stands Apart
At Donny Gray Soccer, we don’t just train—we transform players into confident, game-ready athletes in a high-energy, positive environment. Here’s what makes us different:
✅ We Teach the “Why” – Players don’t just memorize drills—they understand the purpose behind every movement, making them smarter and more adaptable on the field.
✅ Fundamentals First – Solid technique beats flashy tricks. We focus on skills that hold up under pressure and translate directly to real-game success.
✅ High-Energy, High-Impact Training – With music pumping and coaches bringing the energy, every session is intense, engaging, and fun—so players love to learn.
✅ Confidence & Community – We create a “soccer village” where players build self-belief, leadership, and a passion for the game that lasts beyond the field.
At Donny Gray Soccer, we go beyond training—we develop complete players and confident individuals.
