Join us for an amazing week of camp at Nike Soccer Camp at Rider University in Lawrence Township. Team up with Camp Directors Myron Tkachuk and Justin Marriott for the ultimate soccer training camp! With a mix of traditional and modern soccer coaching methodologies, the curriculum is one that allows every camper the opportunity to continue to progress to a higher level of soccer play. Campers receive the unique opportunity to live on campus and experience the life of a collegiate athlete.

Camp Coaches

Coach Myron Tkachuk
Ukrainian native who played soccer for various township clubs as well as college in Ukraine. I have over 7 years of coaching experience on various youth levels. Currently, I work as the PDA MLSNext U13B and PDA ECNL U15B Head Coach. I previously served as the Shore Boys Director of coaching as well as the head coach for the PDA Shore Shearer 2005 B Team. Prior to joining PDA, I was employed as a director of coaching for New Jersey Surf Soccer (former Global Premier Soccer) as well as a head coach for the following premier teams - NJ Surf Mercer 2010 B and NJ Surf Mercer 2007 B. Between July 2015 - August 2018, I was employed as a full-time coach with the New York Red Bulls. During my tenure there, I worked with pre-academy, travel, and community programs. Building a great team and creating a positive environment where players can learn and develop are my two main goals. Highest Coaching Qualifications: USC Premier Diploma USSF B License

Meals: Lunch is provided for Day Campers. Lunch & Dinner is provided for Extended Day Campers
First day check-in: 2:00-3:00pm. The first training session will start at 3:30pm
Final day check-out: 12:00pm following final games

A closing ceremony will take place approximately 30 minutes prior to camp check-out on the last day. Parents are invited to attend! Departure immediately follows the closing ceremony.

SKILL LEVELS
Player Development is for campers of all skill levels. These camps are designed to maximize player participation and ensure each camper develops in all aspects of the game in a fun and engaging environment. Coaches will implement a wide range of technical, physical, and tactical activities with a focus on fun so campers get to improve with a smile on their faces.
High Performance is for campers looking to improve their game in a fun and fast-paced environment. These camps are designed so players leave the camp week more prepared for their club and high school seasons. Experienced coaches will provide campers with a fresh perspective and challenge them to develop technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of their game through a progressive curriculum.

Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual, If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
Linens: Not provided. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel

Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle. A further list of 'recommended items' will be in the Information Packet.
Facility: Ben Cohen Field
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 4 or size 5 ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
TEAM DISCOUNT
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
