    Originally from Liverpool, England, Daniel’s soccer journey began at Manchester United’s Youth Academy, where he trained under elite European coaches and alongside future Premier League stars. He later earned a full scholarship at the University of Rio Grande, capturing a National Championship in 2015.

    Daniel has been a teacher and educator for the past ten years teaching grades 6-12 in public and private institutions across a variety of subjects and is now serving as Head Men's Soccer Coach at Washington Adventist University. Daniel continues to give back to the game by passionately teaching and mentoring the next generation of players through PhiloSoccer Training.

    Windell Reid hails from Kingston, Jamaica, where he excels as a skilled goalkeeper, making crucial saves and protecting the goal with finesse. Not limited to his goalkeeping abilities, Windell's passion for the sport runs deep, and he considers himself a dedicated student of the game, always eager to learn and share his knowledge as a coach.

    During his formative years, Windell attended the esteemed St. George's College in Jamaica, which held a reputation as the best football (soccer) school on the island during the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 seasons. His contributions were instrumental in leading the school to claim both the regional championship and the coveted title of the best team on the entire island.

    After completing high school, Windell continued his football journey by joining the youth academy of Waterhouse F.C. His skills and determination did not go unnoticed, and during that season, he received a call-up to the senior team, eventually making his debut. This achievement opened doors for him to play at the highest level of football in Jamaica.

    Seeking to further his football career and education, Windell seized the opportunity to move to Maryland, where he became part of Harford Community College's team. His outstanding performances helped propel the team to the region final, leaving a lasting impression on the college football scene.

    Upon his successful tenure at Harford Community College, Windell decided to advance to the next level of competition. He joined Washington Adventist University and played with them for two seasons. His talent and leadership abilities were recognized, leading to his appointment as the team captain during his final season at the university.

    Throughout his journey, Windell Reid's dedication, skills, and love for the game have been evident, making him a standout player and an inspiring figure for aspiring footballers both in Jamaica and beyond.

Giovani's dedication to his studies culminated in successfully completing Business Management and Marketing degrees, underscoring his commitment to personal and academic excellence.

    Beyond his accomplishments at Union College, Giovani further honed his talents by serving as an Assistant Soccer Coach and Student Life Manager at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas. Through these roles, he gained invaluable experience guiding and mentoring student-athletes, fostering a positive and supportive environment, and promoting holistic development both on and off the field.

    Giovani's multifaceted background in athletics, business, marketing, coaching, and student affairs makes him an exceptional fit for the Graduate Assistant position at Washington Adventist University.     He has led programs at MD Alliance FC, coached with Bethesda Soccer Club, served as Director of Recruiting for Pachuca FC USA, and gained valuable college experience as an assistant coach at Howard University. Today, he is also the Head Coach at Trinity Washington University, where he continues to shape and inspire student-athletes.

    At PhiloSoccer, Coach Luis is known for his ability to connect with players of all levels, designing fun and challenging sessions that improve skills, build confidence, and spark a true love for the game. His coaching style is fast-paced, high-energy, and team-focused, ensuring that every player leaves the field better than they arrived.

CAMP INFO

This camp is open to all soccer players ages 8-16. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff and placed into groups based on age and ability level. These camps are designed to maximize player participation and ensure each camper develops in all aspects of the game in a fun and engaging environment. Coaches will implement a wide range of technical, physical, and tactical activities with a focus on fun so campers get to improve with a smile on their faces.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Training from the Washington Adventist University Soccer and PhiloSoccer Training coaching staff

  • Day campers: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.

  • Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

  • Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt (two day camp only)

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience

  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.

  • Facility: Ed Wilhelm Soccer Field

  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

TEAM DISCOUNT

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
