This year we are offering 6-night sessions and 13-night sessions of residential summer camps for boys, ages 15–17, who are playing soccer regularly at school and/or club level. Camps run Monday - Sunday.

The coaching curriculum is designed and delivered by Chelsea FC Foundation. Students gain an insight into life as a young professionals at Chelsea Football Club with daily football training including technical mastery, skills development, and structured match play. Coaches join English teachers to host workshops and seminars to support practical football training, with sessions on sports science, nutrition, and match preparation. Students also participate in weekly training sessions at Chelsea FC’s Training Center in Cobham, as well as enhancing their learning with additional workshops and Q&A sessions from special guests.

SUITABLE FOR

Football Level:

Aimed at players looking to transition to the senior game and experience a university campus, this smaller programme takes players deeper into the tactical side of football. Chelsea FC coaches offer players an in-depth insight into how to improve individual performance. On-pitch coaching is modeled on key elements of the Chelsea First Team's playing style with detailed technical drills reflecting in-game scenarios and sequences. Coaches look to develop the physical attributes and mental toughness needed to succeed at a senior level, giving players a true all-round football experience.

English Level:

• Football + English Programme: All abilities except native level English speakers

• Total Football Programme: Not suitable for basic level English speakers

GOALKEEPER TRAINING

Goalkeepers are welcome to join on any camp date. There will be specialist goalkeeping training sessions throughout the week as well as sessions where goalkeepers join the outfield programme.

ENGLISH CURRICULUM

• Curriculum uses CLIL approach used in top schools worldwide

• Includes general English and sports-focused English topics

• Average of 12 students per class

• Highly qualified, native-level English teachers

• Project work

• Helps students prepare for IGCE, IELTS, Trinity, Cambridge, ESB, GESE and CAE exams

• English report to take home

EXCURSIONS

Every week:

• Day of training, games and workshops at Surrey Sports Park. Currently, Surrey Sports Park is home to several professional sports teams and athletes. The park played host to 16 Olympic and Paralympic teams, including Team GB, USA, and China for pre-London 2012 training.

Every player attends once:

• Chelsea FC Training Centre

• Stamford Bridge Stadium Tour

• London Experience

Students on 13-night camps will attend the above excursions as well as:

• Theme Park Experience

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Euro Sports Camps Learning offers airport transfers to/from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Brighton rail station (cost: $130 each way). These can be booked directly at [email protected] once you have booked a camp. Transfers can only be booked for flights that arrive in the UK between 9am – 4pm on the camp start date and depart the UK between 11am – 6pm on the camp end date.

Unaccompanied Minor (UM) or Airport Assistance is a service offered by most airlines whereby airline staff supervise and escort a child during their flight and through the parts of the airport that our staff don't have access to. We recommend using this service for all children traveling alone under the age of 14. Please inform us of your airport transfer booking if you are using this service by emailing [email protected]

REGISTRATION PACKET

A detailed camper information packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers closer to the camp's start date.

REFUND POLICY

Cancellations, for any reason, received at least five (5) days before camp start date, will result in a camp VOUCHER for all tuition fees paid, valid through the following calendar year. Your VOUCHER is transferable to any family member and may be used in the sport in which you initially registered. Cash refunds will be given only with the purchase of Cancellation Protection (see terms below). Individuals who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows) or cancel their camp session within five (5) days of the camp start date will receive a camp VOUCHER for all tuition fees paid less a $100 cancellation fee.
