Join Nike Softball Camps this summer at The Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia! This general skills camp is available to athletes of all abilities, ages 5-13 (Rising 1st Graders to rising 8th Graders). Camp will focus on all aspects of softball including the fundamentals of fielding, hitting, baserunning, catching, intro to pitching, team competitions, and team communication.

Camp Director Perelini Bush
Coach Bush has served as Head Coach for Lovett Varsity Softball since August 2020. Coach Bush led the lady lions to back-to-back regional championships in the 6-AA region, 2nd runner up of GHSA State tournament, and 5th place in this 2021 season state tournament in the 6AA classification.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, specific position fielding, base-running, and game situations. In addition, pitchers will have the opportunity to work with pitching instructors. You can expect high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2022 CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: June 6-10, 2022
- Age Group: 5-13 (1st Grade - 8th Grade)
- Gender: Girls
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday
- Check-In: 30 minutes prior to camp start time
- Lunch: All campers should eat breakfast at home. Lunch is provided.
- Campers will have the option to go swimming at the end of each day. Please bring a swimsuit and towel!
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Daily Softball Instruction
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Nike Camp T-Shirt, Gym Sack, Player Card, and Lanyard
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own glove, cleats, bat, batting gloves, helmet, and wear softball attire (softball pants recommended)
- Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
HEALTH & RELEASE FORMS
All registered campers are required to have a parent or legal guardian fill out US Sports Camps’ mandatory Health & Release Forms online before arrival at camp. This camp does NOT require a doctor's signature on the forms.
CAMP INFORMATION PACKET
A detailed Camp Information Packet containing check-in location and address, on-site staff contact information, a checklist of things to bring, site-specific forms, and more will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. To check if your Camp Information Packet is ready, click here.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.

THE LOVETT SCHOOL EXTENDED CARE
- Breakfast Bunch (Pre-Care): 7:30 am-9:00am
- Details: Be an early bird! Join your friends for breakfast for all campers who arrive by 8:30 am. Play with a variety of board games, computer games, and enjoy free play on the playground. At 8:45am, counselors will accompany you to your registered camp. (Sign up on Lovett School website)
- Jungle Gym (After-Care): 3:00pm-6:00pm
- Details: Need extra time for pickup after the camp day? Join us for organized activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, and sports and games. (Sign up on Lovett School website)
NIKE SOFTBALL CAMPER PACKAGE
Purchase some essentials with a Nike Softball Camper Package. Includes a Nike Softball Camper Visor, Nike Brasilia Duffle Bag (Medium), and a Nike Water Bottle. All taxes and shipping are included in the purchase price of $125. All sales are final and please give 3-4 weeks for shipping. Note: All items will be shipped directly to the address provided during registration. The Nike Softball Camper Package will not be available to purchase at camp.

Brooks Field is home to Lovett School Softball. Lovett Softball and Baseball share a complex which includes top notch diamonds, spectator seating, and indoor batting cages!
