Coach Nelson, who has 10 years of college coaching experience and has coached in the NPF Pro League and internationally, is passionate about helping athletes improve their game while fostering a love for softball. She and her staff—comprised of current and former college coaches and players, many of whom were once campers themselves—bring unmatched expertise and enthusiasm to every session.
Campers ages 8-15 will spend an average of 24 hours on the field, receiving personalized, focused instruction in key areas like hitting, fielding, and baserunning. With a camper-to-staff ratio of 8:1, each player will receive individualized attention, ensuring they get the guidance and support needed to reach their full potential.
What sets this camp apart is its structured, organized approach, and the emphasis on both skill development and teamwork. Campers will be recognized for their achievements with awards such as Most Improved, Best Teammate, and Most Inspirational Team, celebrating both individual and team growth.

Coach Debbie Nelson is recognized as one of the top private teaching instructors in the business. Coach Nelson's training and coaching experience began in 1988 in Sacramento. After spending one year at St Francis High School where the team finished as CIF Champions, she spent the next six years at Sacramento State University.

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2025 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: August 5-8, 2025
- Age Group: 8-15
- Camp Type: Day Camp
- Schedule: Tuesday-Friday | 9:00am-3:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.
Facility: Outdoor Fields.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
