Nike Swim Camps is excited to return to University of California, Santa Barbara again in Summer 2026! Register today and enjoy elite-level training while making memories to last a lifetime. The camp offers a unique opportunity to train under the direction of college coaches and current and former collegiate athletes who serve as counselors. The camp is open to athletes ages 10-17.
Overnight Camp
Our overnight camp at UCSB offers an immersive, on-campus experience in which campers reside in the beautiful Manzanita Village dormitories (offers many rooms with views of the Pacific Ocean) in adjacent rooms to the camp staff while training during the daytime hours. The tuition includes housing, meals, fun evening activities, as well as college recruiting seminars on Tuesday evening (parents are encouraged to attend the seminars!).
Day Camp (9:00am-4:00pm)
Nike Swim Camps also offers a summer day camp program for athletes who do not wish to stay overnight. This program runs 9:00am-4:00pm each day and includes daytime training only. Campers can bring their own lunch or purchase on campus.
Pool Facilities
The camp plans to utilize the UCSB Recreation Center Swim Complex (where the UCSB Swim Team trains) for the duration of the camp. Availability of starting blocks at the pool is based on availability.
Nike Sports Camp Experience
At UC Santa Barbara, Nike Sports Camps offers a unique experience with many sports (Cross Country, Golf, Softball, Swim, Tennis, and Track & Field) operating simultaneously. During the day, the athletes receive sport-specific coaching within their sport focus. In the evening, overnight campers across all sports come together for a special camp-wide experience which includes fun field games, educational seminars, and more.
The Nike Swim Camp at University of California Santa Barbara is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age and gender. Athletic facilities and coaches are subject to change. The camp is not owned, sponsored, controlled or endorsed by University of California Santa Barbara.

Jeff Natalizio is the assistant swimming & diving coach at Whittier College. Coach Natalizio swam collegiately at University of California, Berkeley where he earned All-American status in addition to multiple Top-10 program rankings.

Jason Willman is the assistant swim coach at Chapman University and serves as a lead coach for Next Athletes and Nike Swim Camps.

Site Director Kayla Neff
Kayla Neff serves as site director for Next Athletes (operators of Nike Sports Camps) and is currently an assistant coach for Biola University Softball. Kayla is the main point of contact for parents across all sports at camp.

Payton Brown serves as an assistant site director for Next Athletes and Nike Sports Camps. Payton is currently a Division II baseball coach at Adams State University and is currently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration. You can expect a high demand for these first-come-first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, Santa Cruz is offering one session of overnight with a day camp option (9:00am-4:00pm) for ages 10-18. Instruction will take place each day at the UC Santa Barbara pool.

- Program: The Stroke Technique program is designed to provide competitive swimmers with a better understanding of swimming fundamentals. Stroke refinement along with constructive feedback will be the focus of the camp and allows each participant to gain a greater knowledge of proper stroke mechanics and ways to improve themselves individually.

Please note: Camp is closed to spectators during daytime hours. Parents are highly encouraged to attend the orientation on the first day and closing ceremony on the final day!
OVERNIGHT CAMP
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp.
- Check-in: On the first day of camp, check-in will be between 7:30-8:00am.
- Check-in Location: Las Encinas Quad
- Check out: On the last day of camp, check-out is at 4:00pm at Las Encinas Quad.

DAY CAMP (9:00AM – 4:00PM)
This camp offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only.
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Monday): 8:15-8:45am at Las Encinas Quad
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Tue-Thurs): 8:45-9:00am at Las Encinas Quad
- Day Camper Pick-Up (Every Day): 4:00pm at Las Encinas Quad
- Parking: Parents can use the UCSB Parking Structure 22 for all drop-offs and pick-ups. UCSB charges by hour or by day for parking. Parents can pay at the kiosk at the parking structure.
- Meals: Lunches are not provided for day campers.
PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us for educational seminars on Tuesday evening. The location and schedule will be announced prior to camp. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a collegiate athlete, how to choose the right school, and more. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.
2026 HOUSING
- Dorm: Manzanita Village Residence Hall
- Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
- Air Conditioning: No. The dormitories at UCSB are located directly in front of the ocean and tend to stay cool. Campers are welcome to bring a small fan.
SUPERVISION
The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

- Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
- Day campers: Dinner provided on Thursday; Lunch is provided Friday and Saturday.
- Supervision: Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.

TRANSPORTATION
Nike Sports Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.

How are swimmers grouped at camp?
Upon arrival at camp at Wingate, campers are placed in groups with other swimmers having similar abilities and goals. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate your needs, keeping in consideration your experience and desire to improve.
